(Alec pov)I didn't even bother to say I was back home, there was no reason for it. Such a huge house, full of old objects passed by our family through the years. Yet, the house was empty. What was the point of having a lot of ancient ornaments, a lot of housekeepers, if there was nobody to welcome you? Everything was meaningless. I took off my shoes, leaving them at the entrance as I walked towards the stairs.
I sighed, laying down on my bed as I laid on my right side, glancing at the window. It's been almost one hour, since I came back home and I've spent the whole time, staring outside the window, doing nothing. Suddenly I heard a scratching coming from the door, narrowing my eyebrows, I went towards the door. When I opened it, a loudly 'meow' came out from the door.
"Hey Grey, what are you doing?". I leaned down to caress grey, the kitten I've brought home.
I saved him on a rainy day, there were thunders and the weather was terrible. I found him alone under a box, trying to cover himself from the storm. From then, he's been by my side.
I watched him as he climbed onto the bed, finding the right place to lay on my bed.
"Are you hungry?". He looked up at me, his bright green eyes staring back at me when he suddenly meowed. I patted him on his head, while he was purring with his eyes closed. "Let's go then".
Next to my bedroom, there was a little room only for Grey, since I was the only one who takes care of him. From a closet I took his food, putting it into his bowl, changing as well the water from this morning. Once finished, I came back into my room, leaving the door half-open.
I took my phone that was on the night table, checking the time. It showed five pm.
I stared at the screen, a picture of a sunset I took some days ago was shining into the darkroom.
Suddenly a thought came into my mind. I unlocked the phone, quickly clicked on the agenda and searched for the number.
Magnus Bane, there was written. I remember his eyes, such a deep brown a contrast to his dark hair. I thought about sending him a message, so he will register my number. I never have known that sending a message would be so hard, damn.
"Okay... you can do it." I told to myself, five minutes later after I've stared to the message.
This seems good... right? The message said:"
Hey! I'm Alec, the one who wears contacts but today he didn't wear it. I was wondering if you want to meet this weekend, if you're free.
Let me know! Goodnight." Who writes that?
I should cut the part of the contacts and write instead, "the guy who accidentally ran into you."
"Uhmm... well, it should be fine..." I was nervous, really nervous. But I send it, hoping that he wouldn't think of me as an idiot.
