(Alec pov)

Magnus didn't move an inch, he stayed still without saying a word. I wanted to ask him what happened but did better than to ask him that right now. He was looking at a woman who was walking with a man, he waited till the woman wasn't in sight anymore. I couldn't see how she looked like, the only thing I could manage to see was that she had black long hair. I watched as Magnus was still looking at the corner, where once there was the black-haired woman.

There was again, that uncomfortable silence, making me more nervous than I already was.

I decided to break it and patted gently on Magnus's shoulder, at first I didn't receive any response. The second time I did, he finally turned towards me, even if his stare was elsewhere.

"Do you want a cup of tea?". My inner self couldn't think straight as I let the first thing that came up in my mind. He nodded.

I thought about bringing him home, maybe he would feel at ease since there was nobody there.

But we ended up in another coffee shop, that seemed to be not far from where we were before.

Since it was getting a bit late, I decided to order some cookies and sweets. I drank my tea in silence, sometimes eating a few cookies and looked around the shop. "S-Sorry...", my head suddenly turned to where the voice came. I blinked twice as I couldn't believe that I finally heard Magnus voice. "Oh. No, no, no. Don't worry! You didn't do anything wrong." Why he was apologizing for? It wasn't his fault if he saw someone unpleasant. "I hope you're enjoying your tea." I gave him a little smile, as he finally decided to take some of the biscuits left.

"I've to go, I'm sorry Magnus. But I really don't wanna go, I like staying with you." I admitted.

Magnus was staring back at me, not saying a word. "Oh. S-Sorry! I didn't know what to say but- it's not like I didn't-." What was he even saying?

He looked so cute right now, that I couldn't help but chucked at his strange but cute behaviour.

"Don't worry, you don't have to say anything. It's fine even a goodbye." This time, he smiled a bit, still embarrassed from before even though I told him to not worry about.
