Another morning arises.

Before the sun has fully set, Yoongi wakes up. Seeing the time, the boy rushes out of his bed, leaving the warm place. In a hurry, he grabs some clothes for today. After he has taken a cold, short shower he starts to get ready. Not much of a fashionable outfit, he thinks to himself. It's just a black long-sleeved t-shirt, black, ripped skinny jeans and a pair of black Converse at his feet. Just before Yoongi runs down the stairs, he grabs his blue denim jacket to slip on.

Upon entering the kitchen, the boy starts to prepare breakfast for his stepbrothers and stepmother. It has been four years since his father died. Right now, Yoongi is 20 years old. His stepbrother Seokjin is 22 years old. Taehyung just turned 18 years old.

Yoongi silently places everyone's breakfast on the dining table. After that, he takes out the trash and cleans the kitchen and the silverware. He cleans the silverware until he is able to see his own reflection in the spoons, knives and forks. When he is about to leave the room to do the laundry, Taehyung enters the kitchen.

"Goodmorning, Taehyung. Is something wrong with your breakfast?" Yoongi asks politely, like his stepmother taught him to. She can't treat them like they are close family, even if they are living under the same roof.

"Drop the formalities when my mother's not around, Yoongi. Also, my breakfast is perfect. Thank you," the boy smiles. "But that's not why I'm here. I have an important question I hope you can help me with." Yoongi looks at his stepsibling in curiosity. "Do you think my mother will get angry when I tell her I like someone?" the youngest of the two then blurts out after a short silence. Another short silence follows.

"U-Um... I honestly don't know, Tae. I mean, she's nothing but cruel to me but you're her son so I guess that's... different?" the stepbrother doesn't really know how to answer the younger one. "But... Can I assume now that you like someone?" a blush appears on Taehyung's face.

"M-Maybe..." the 18-year-old blushes even more. "Well, whoever you love, make sure they treat you right. You deserve someone who likes for you the way you are." Yoongi smiles at his stepsibling. "Thanks, Yoongi!" the boy skips out of the kitchen.

"Oh no."

Suddenly, Yoongi remembers the laundry he is supposed to do. Of course, Taehyung having an issue is more important, but the 20-year-old wants to avoid his stepmother scolding him another time. When Yoongi is finished with washing all the laundry, he hears a noise he doesn't like one bit.

"Yoongi!!!" the stepmother's voice echoes through the whole house. The called boy walks down the stairs with quick steps, trying to make his mother not too mad. "You must've cleaned the floor by the time Taehyung and I get home." she demands. "Yes, ma'am." Yoongi obeys, his eyes cast to the ground. "Good. Now, my dear Seokjin, Taehyung and I will be leaving." the woman waves goodbye to one of her sons, while dragging the other male with her outside to the carriage.

Yoongi doesn't wait for the carriage to leave to get the cleaning supplies. In his ripped jeans, he walks to the basement where he collects the things he'll be needing in the process of cleaning the floor.

The boy ties a bandana around his head to prevent his hair from falling in front of his eyes. The 20-year-old starts weeping the floor of the hall. After an hour, he is finally finished. Each spot of the tiles is shining. With a sigh, Yoongi gets up. he empties the bucket filled with dirty water in the bushes of the backyard.

Next, he goes up to his stepmother's room. Continuing his schedule. Yoongi cleans her room spotless. After that, he feels himself growing tired. The boy knows he must continue his work. Yoongi heads back to the garden to collect all the dried laundry.

Once he takes his time to look at the clock, the boy sees it's only 3PM. His stepmother won't be home before 18:30 at least. Having done all his tasks for today, Yoongi sighs happily. On his way to the stables, he sees Seokjin, who is reading a book at the window in the living room. Yoongi bites his lip in thought.

If I leave through the backdoor, he won't notice I've left...

Quietly, the boy exits the house. Escaping to the stables, a smile appears on his face. Yoongi walks up to Woyeo, his horse. "Hi there." the 20-year-old guy smiles at his horse. One of his friends who has never left him alone before. After a short while, Yoongi and Woyeo are ready to leave the stables.
