Chapter Eleven

The next day, Mrs Kim leaves to a small party with her son Taehyung. Seokjin stays at home, reading a book. Yoongi is at home as well, cleaning the house and doing laundry. Like always.

Entering the high society place, everyone welcomes Mrs Kim and her youngest son. When the woman leaves with some other wealthy people to talk while having a drink, Jeongguk walks up to Taehyung.

"Ggukie!" Taehyung smiles happily. The two walk through the gardens around the house and smile politely at anyone passing them. Jeongguk and Taehyung talk a lot about several things. Such as paintings, the weather and also about last night.

Meanwhile, Mrs Kim is looking for her son. She has started to doubt what he said last night. Last night, Taehyung said he didn't see the boy with the Prince, which was, and still is the subject everyone is talking about. However, just now Mrs Kim heard one of her friends say that Taehyung was constantly inside so Mrs Kim wants to make sure her son isn't lying to her.

"Has your mother found out who danced with Prince Jimin?" Jeongguk asks. He and Taehyung are sitting on a stone bench at a beautiful fountain in the large garden. "No, she hasn't yet. And I don't want her to. I heard that they will start searching for the mystery boy this afternoon so she must not find out. She could ruin Yoongi's happiness."

Mrs Kim gasps at what her son says. She takes a deep breath, then steps away from the high bushes she was hiding behind to hear what her son was talking about to Jeongguk.

"Taehyung, are you coming? We are going home." she smiles overly sweet. Her son raises an eyebrow. "Already? But we got here only half an hour ago?" he senses something is wrong in his mother's behaviour.

"Yes, I know, but I'm not feeling too well." the woman replies, smiling sickenly sweet again. Taehyung shrugs his shoulders. He says goodbye to Jeongguk and leaves the place with his mother.

The pair arrives home not much later.

"Where is Yoongi?" Mrs Kim asks Seokjin who comes down the stairs at the sound of hearing the front door opening. He didn't expect his mother and brother to be back so soon. "He's taking a break in his room." Jin answers. "Great." the woman smiles, hurrying up the stairs.

Seokjin looks at his sibling. "Why does she act so... strange?" Taehyung shrugs, having no clue about what his mother is going to do.
