chapter 4. To Have Fun with Friends

The next few days blurred together and it wasn't long before the awaited trip to Hawaii approached.
As fun as Hawaii sounded, Yuuen simply couldn't bring herself to share in the enthusiasm. Unlike Ann, whose rumors have been changed for the better, Yuuen's rumor has changed for the worst making people avoid her as if she was the bubonic plague.
Not to mention she was the first one to arrive at the airport out of her friend group, meaning she had to stand there awkwardly as people gave her weird stares.
'Oh my god, is that her?'
'She's all by herself.'
'I bet she's waiting for her two delinquent boyfriends to show up.'
Yuuen sighed, I mean they exactly weren't wrong about the boyfriend part, but she would never date Ryuji and both of them are not delinquents.
And speaking of the devil a new figure approached, jogging over a bit to get the female's attention.
"Akira..." She mumbled noticing the black-haired figure carrying a small silver suitcase in his hand.
"Good morning, you're here early." He hummed a bit before shooting a glare to the group of girls who continued bad-mouthing the two of them. They shut up almost instantly.
"No... you guys are just here late..." Yuuen puffed out her cheeks crossing her arms, "I thought everyone knew you're supposed to arrive at an airport an hour early just to be safe."
Akira chuckled a bit, "So overly organized..." He muttered before tugging on the female's left cheek, making her drop her pout into almost instantly as she glared at the black-haired male.
"Keep frowning like that and it'll get stuck to your face!" He teased playfully, unable to resist after seeing the girl's annoyed expression, which in all honestly he found surprisingly adorable.
"Wow... thanks." She rolled her eyes sarcastically but was unable to stop the slight smile that found its way on her face.
The back and forth continued from there, eventually, the pair erupting in a fit of giggles as they mentioned something about Yusuke's indecent comment to Ann after failing out of Kaneshiro's palace.
"He really asked that?!" Yuuen snorted a bit, having to turn away to hide the embarrassment on her face.
"You two seem like you're having fun." A new voice stated as it snapped the two out of their little moment.
"M-Mako-senpai." Yuuen's eyes widened as her gaze fell upon the brunette girl, Ann standing off to the side of her.
"Good morning you two." She nodded as Ann also gave a small wave, the two of them both carrying suitcases.
