What was I going to do?  How was I going to help him?  I started to panic.  What if he died?  What would I tell his parents?  That he died because some creature-human thing with unreasonably long claws had sliced his chest?  Maybe his mother would have just ignored me like before.  I pulled off my shoes and then my socks and used my socks to gently wipe the blood on his chest.  It was no help as each time I wiped, more blood came up.  What did I expect anyways?  I started scolding myself.  I held my pulsing head as I worried.  If he died, would I have gone to jail?

"Oh my God.  Oh my God.  Oh my God." I said over and over.

I then noticed a small creature behind a close by tree staring at Devon.  I got up onto my feet.

"Hey!" I called after it and it shifted its gaze to me. "Could you get help?  Please?"

I didn't know what else to do.  Soon three others appeared, then five more.  They walked up to Devon and placed their small pale three-fingered hands on his chest and started chanting something together.  Their little hands started glowing and I noticed the wounds on Devon's chest had started to get smaller and smaller.  They soon removed their hands, and Devon's chest looked as if he were never injured.  I began to calm down.

"Thank you.  Thank you so much." I said to the pale creatures.

"Anything for the children of the Earth." They said and retreated into the trees.

They were strange creatures but they had cool superpowers.

"Where am I?" I heard Devon say.

I dropped down on my knees beside him and told him not to worry or move too much.  But he didn't listen.  He jumped to his feet so I stood up too.

"Where am I?" He asked again but louder.

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you." I said.

"Answer the question.  Please." He calmed down.

"Eligathy."

"Truthfully please."

"I'm not lying.  We went through the portal.  Don't you remember?"

He said the last thing he remembered was being in his yard staring at the sky.  How great!  Memory loss.  I told him what had happened after that and he looked at me as if I were crazy, but I expected it.

"So if we are in Eligathy, how do we get back home?" He asked.

"I don't know." I said and dragged on my shoes and left the socks on the ground.

"Woah, woah, woah.  Whose blood is that?" He looked at my hands.

"Yours.  Did you not listen to what I just said?"

He started walking away from me.

"I'm going to find a way out of here." He said.

"I highly doubt that.  I know a place where we can probably stay the night though."

He stopped walking and turned around.

"Where?" He asked.

He walked back to me and I pointed at the castle that I had gone to before.  For the entire walk there, Devon kept silent.  I wasn't one to run after people like that, so I kept quiet too.

I knocked on the castle door, and saw the same doorman that was there before.

"Welcome back ma'am, uhh, young lady.  What brings you back here?  And why with a friend?" He greeted me.

"We just need a place to stay for the night." I said.

"Well come on in.  I'm sure Her Highness wouldn't mind the extra company."

The doorman led us to one of the guest rooms and turned on the light.  Its clean white walls, gave the room a sense of purity which was contradicted, but complimented by two red and black queen sized beds beside each other with only enough space for one person to walk between them.  On the wall behind the beds, there were two pictures, one depicting light and life, and the other depicting darkness and death.  In the first picture, there were many angels dressed in white looking down (from heaven) at humans who were giving praise to God.  The people appeared to be overjoyed whilst singing their praises.  But in the second picture, a depiction of the devil was at the top right corner and there were dark figures flying around scaring the people who were not already dead.  The devil seemed pleased, but the people were far from happy.

"Okay.  So this is your room.  But first you are going to meet the Queen." The doorman said.

This was very strange as in shows, and documentaries, normal people never got to meet the Royals just like that.  Devon and I followed the doorman skeptically towards the throne room.  He pushed the giant door open and led us inside.  I expected to see someone sitting on the throne, but there was no one.

"Where is the Queen?" The doorman asked.

"Out on a walk Sir Timothy." Someone answered.  "She shall be back soon.  Why the need to see her Sir?"

"We just have some guests."

"Ah.  I see."

We were told to sit down in chairs at the door until Her Highness had returned and we did.  We waited around thirty minutes and I noticed that Devon had started to fall asleep, but I wanted to see who I was waiting on, so I tried my best to stay up.

"Okay.  So about tomorrow now.  King Darius will be here, so the whole castle needs to ready." I heard a strangely familiar voice say.

The Queen walked into the room through a side door, but due to where I was, I could not see her face.

"Your Majesty, you have guests." Sir Timothy said.

She spun around quickly and excitedly, but her expressions quickly changed.  Now I knew why she had sounded so familiar.

"Mommy?" I asked quite shocked.
