I was saved. When I fell I felt my body tremble a bit.

I looked up to see Parker shaking her hand loosely in pain, "Ah, puto..." She muttered.

I was shocked to see Dallas come towards me and kneel,"Are you okay? He didn't touch or hurt you, did he?"

"No, I'm fine." I answered standing up.

"My fucking dad's a lawyer you bitch!" The now evident fuckboy got up and ran inside.

Parker started laughing,"Does it look like we give a fuck? You're the one that's gonna have sex offender follow you wherever you go."

She walked toward me as I dusted off my butt and put a hand on my head while looking down at me.

Our size difference made me feel embarrassed, I was at 5'2 while Parker managed to reach the height of 5'6, her wavy long dark brown hair carefully slicked into a bun with a bit of the sides shaved off. It made her hairline and the bit of baby hairs that still lay about look so clean.

"Are you good? Chanel, if that coño touched you in anyway he's not supposed to, let me know."

I laughed,"It's fine, I'm fine. I was just shaken up a bit he didn't do much but forget what personal space was." She hugged me as my words got muffled in her chest.

Parker was a little flat so I was fine.

"Well, he better not forget again" Parker scoffed. "Because that's his ass!" She began talking about beating him to a pulp.

I looked at Dallas who had been quiet for a while. His green eyes with the pretty specks of brown in it had grown dark. His thick eyebrows were quietly furrowed as he ran his fingers through his Sandy brown hair. His sharp jawline was clenched and he seemed as if he was deep in thought.

"Hey, you okay, Dallas?" His expression calmed as he looked at me,"Yes ma'am, just thinking about how unfair it was Parker got to him before I did."

"Oh yeah! I don't know why but I sped off when I saw it was Chanel. Like, my feet just took me." Parker shrugged her shoulders.

I loved how easy going Parker was and honestly I was jealous her and Paris knew each other first. I could be myself around Parker. It's like she didn't care, she made me feel human.

Speaking of, Paris and Kalani made their way down the street to us.

Paris saw Dallas and her eyes immediately lit up,"Uh, hey, what're you doing hanging around here, Dallas Flynn?" Paris said blushing very visibly.

"Right? Paris, can you believe how shocked I was when I found out this guy lived a block from me? He's really cool when you get to know him, he has like this chill laid-back vibe. I fuck with it." Parker grabbed Paris wandering into the school with her.

Dallas looked at them and laughed to himself while shaking his head,"What?" I inquired, "It's nothing. I just love your friend, Parker."

I smiled,"All of my friends are daimonds in the rough, thank you."

Kalani slid in,"Soo," she eyed me with a smirk,"Chani, told me about your date, I'm excited for you two."

"I doubt she told you," Dallas admitted.

I just looked at him in confusion and Kalani just had this stiff smile looking at me then back to him.

"No, she didn't say anything, I can tell what kind of person Chanel is from the way she carries herself she wouldn't have come to me like that. She probably wouldn't have come to me at all." He kept a calm and cool posture which made him sound intelligent for some reason.

"I wasn't sure at first, but now I know. It had to be you who sent the message." He nodded his head in Kalani's direction.

Kalani scoffed,"Well, look at you, Mr. Smarty pants." She rubbed the back of her head, "Shit, I'm stiff, I've never gotten figured out before." She said in between laughs.

She pulled out the shades she'd borrowed from me,"Well, if I'm gonna go out, I'm gonna go out a bad bitch" She tilted them down and raised her eyebrows at me. Me and her both giggled as she strutted off.

Dallas turned to me,"You two have an odd relationship," I laughed again,"Yeah, Lani's a bit of a comedian."

"Well, since the date doesn't have the right qualifications to be a real date, do you mind if I try again?" He asked stepping closer.

He was basically hovering over me at what had to be no less than 6'2, a hint of his cologne sweetly filled my nose and suddenly I just wanted to feel his touch. I grew nervous and my heart nearly jumped out of my chest.

"Not at all." I don't know how I managed to say those words so confidently.

"Chanel Rouge, may I have this pleasure of taking you out on a date after school. Setting of your choice."

Despite my head feeling hot and me wanting to smile so bad, I did not allow myself to show any interest, this is simply infatuation and infatuation never ends pretty.

At this point I'm just a lucky fan girl. I'll never be that, in this case I'll make him the lucky one.

"If you insist," I giggled in a way a girl would giggle in front of her crush.

Neither of us wanted to make any real physical contact knowing that this was only our second day in. He probably didn't mind as much as I did. But even walking into the school with him now and walking to class together felt like too much. In my mind I swore no one but us three should know about the date.

No one would care about Dallas because to them he's a model just bagging a new date for the night. But they needed someone to shame, the one who contemplated and expected more of the date. The one who thought they'd get somewhere with a guy they let hit on the first night. No, I wouldn't ever let that girl be me. But to the public my truth held no merit, the propaganda would spread like wildfire and turn my truth into ashy lies. Now I would have more models attempting to take what I'd protected for so long. I'm the internet's slut for models.

The rest of the day we had pretty normal conversations in my first two classes with him. And although we'd both gotten a reasonably good amount of cat calls, I learned a few things about him as well.

His favorite color is marine blue, he is 17 and a senior which I had no idea since I'm a sophomore, turns out he's 6'3, and he's the first person I've met who actually has a favorite number, which is 8. Because it's symmetrical.

It's so weird to know that famous or 'well-known' people have actual personalities, I'd hate to go on a secret date with a box. Dallas is just so charming but in a way that he doesn't mean to be, that's just him.

His disposition is just so illegally elegant but also threatening in a manner that he looks out of your league, until you actually talk to him.

By the end of the day I had already made up my mind about where i wanted us to go, somewhere calm and peaceful. I knew a big park not a long way from us and I wanted to have a picnic by the duck pond. Besides, I love ducklings!

On the way home from school, Parker, Paris, and Kalani all decided they wanted Dallas to walk home with us. It didn't change much for me being as though Paris and Dallas walked ahead of us talking, I had to keep Parker from running up there.

I wanted Paris to take a shot at what could be her's, after all he was nothing but a burden to and has only brought me embarrassment. Plus, Paris is a pretty girl with a pretty heart, she has the cutest sense of fashion and people just love how congenial and selfless she is. They'd make a picture perfect couple.
