Chapter 2

In the dream, Tyler and Kate were in a dream phase where Tyler was Phoenix Wright, his favorite character, from Ace Attorney. Kate was a pixel character in a computer, exploring her way around. From somewhere, she heard an,
"OBJECTION!!!" , and jumped. "Who? Huh? What was that?" she asked, and she froze: she sounded pixelated and weird! Little did she know, she was in the pc at the house.

In the morning, Tyler woke up, looking like Phoenix Wright. Kate was a pixel version of herself. "What the? Melody?" she cried, afraid. Yes? Melody said with a mysterious smile. "Uh, what is going on?" Tyler asked. I gotta go, Aunt Cass needs my help. Melody avoided them both by teleporting away. She turned to Tyler and started laughing. "Hi, Phoenix Wright" She smiled. "Good morning, 8-bit Kate," he said back. She giggled but it sounded pixelated like her voice. "Tyler? Is that you? You sound different," came a voice from outside their room, which was his mom's voice. "OBJECTION!!! I am now Phoenix Wright, Ace Attorney!!" he said, and she laughed. "Well! Can I come in?" she asked. "Sure." Kate answered as she glitched into her normal clothes. His mom opened the door, and she froze. "So...so, you're really Phoenix Wright now? And Kate? OH MY GOD WHAT THE-" she screamed, and passed out on the floor. "If i am pixelated like my dream does that mean..."Kate trailed off. "MELODY!!! GET YOUR ASS IN HERE!!!" Tyler shouted. They waited five minutes and Melody didn't show up. She didn't even send a telepathic message or text explaining why not. "Does she actually have plans with Cass today?" Tyler asked annoyed. "Aunt Cass said they were going to Disney sometime this month with Melody's dad and Vivian Rose but I'm not sure if that is this weekend." Kate said. "Now that is a lie, and that I will deal with!" Tyler "Wright" said. "Aunt Cass told me, not Melody." Kate said. "I need to, er, knock it off with this act," he said. Turning to Kate, he asked, "Can you make me go to sleep?"

"Uh, sure," she said, then considered the reason: if she made them both fall asleep, then they could return things to normal. She hit him with a sleep curse that would last till true love's kiss, which would be hers. Then, she waited, but used a Dream Hijack spell. I could use some help here, his voice echoed in her mind. She teleported into his Dream World using a spell Melody's mom Cass taught her.

In his dream, she saw him becoming his so-called Kamen Rider Mirai character, saving the world from the evils of time. "If my thoughts are correct, this means this will happen in the real world." She mumbled to herself, but remembered a smidgen of his talking: "I am still me; remember it.", and waved the thought aside. She teleported out of the dream world and sat on the bed writing on lined paper, waiting for a message telling her to wake him up from him. A moment later, she looked down on the paper she was writing on and saw a message: "So WAKE ME UP when it's all over.", and smiled. She put her papers aside and kissed his lips, waking him up from his slumber. Although oddly enough, because she was pixelated, it gave him a very minor electric shock because technically, she was electronic at the moment. He instantly woke up and kissed her pixelated lips, getting a longer minor shock, but he did it anyway. 'Thanks for waking me up,' he telepathically said, and she smiled. Kate then teleported Tyler's mom to bed. "Hey, why am I in bed?" they heard, and they smiled, for as soon as she was in the bed, his mom fell asleep. "Let's just tell her it was a bad dream?" Kate smiled. "Nah, no need. She's asleep," he said, and made Kate fall asleep. As she slept, he murmured into her ear, "Sweet dreams, darling". He walked over to his desk and opened up his laptop, starting Super Smash Flash 2, intent on beating Classic mode on Random, Insane difficulty. While he was playing, Mario turned to him and said, to him, "She's a ready bro!", and resumed normal gameplay. Smiling, he turned around, and casted, "Hikari! Okoshi!", allowing her to wake up. She sat up and she looked normal except she had bright red hair when her hair was supposed to be the blue fading to purple, the colours of which she dyed it to the weekend before. "Uh, kit? What's up with your hair? I know you don't want blond, which is your natural colour, but switching weekly now seems crazy." Tyler said. "What? Oh? My hair never matches my current colour in my dreams." Kate laughed, magically fixing it back to the blue-to-purple effect she had. "You saw my dream, right?" he asked knowingly, and she nodded. "Can you do it?" she asked, and he smiled. "Did you see mine?" Kate asked him, but he shook his head. "In mine, Jazzy had started going to school with us and then we go to get ice cream after school each day and you're jelly I'm allowed but you're not." Kate said, and noticed that his facial expressions fell. "Well, in mine, uh, us as a team, Kamen Rider Mirai and Midnight Shine, saving the world from the evils of the Time Schema, and, well..." he tried to finish, but couldn't. "Looks like if my thoughts are correct, we'll have both of those happening." Kate chuckled. "If I went a little dirty, we fucked afterwards in private to celebrate," he added with a sly undertone that made her giggle.
