After school, Kate was in the library waiting for Tyler to meet her. He had lost his pencil case Kate made for him and was checking his classes for it. Eventually he found it in his period five classroom. "Now to find Kate." He mumbled to himself assuming where she'd be. He strolled to the library and there she was reading a book as expected. 'Time to go.' he telepathically told her but she ignored him. He walked over to her and tapped her. "One minute." She whispered annoyed. He rolled his eyes not surprised she was lost in a book. Five minutes later he tapped her again. "One minute." She whispered more annoyed. "You said that five minutes ago." Tyler whispered getting impatient. "Doesn't matter." She said before closing the book. "I'm checking it out." She smiled and walked off to do so. "Ai yai yai." Tyler rolled his eyes, following her.
Afterwards, she teleported them to the fairy tale world. "You sure spend lots of time here." Tyler said. "I really do. I used to live here. My home town is in this dimension. I wish the two of us could live in peace here," she said with a hint of sadness in her voice. Coming to stand beside her in a comforting manner, Tyler hugged her. She hugged him back, reassured that nothing out of the ordinary will happen to them. "So, where is this hideout?" Tyler asked. "Right in front of you." She smiled at the forest in front of them. "I don't see anything...oh...is it invisible?" Tyler asked. "Yep." Kate pulled out a key and walked inside an invisible door. "C'mon in." She cheekily smiled. He followed her inside and it was a mess with papers, books, toys, and memory orbs everywhere, and he glared at her. "This is probably my OCD talking, but this room is a mess, even by my own standards!" She laughed. "I find it a bit messy. So the paper Missouri and I were talking about should be in a notepad with old crush doodles on the cover. It could be anywhere. Feel free to explore the memory orbs and papers and books if ya want." She smiled. "Alright." Tyler smiled. "Oh and for the orbs. You will be sucked into it and watch as a ghost." Kate smiled before leaving him downstairs so she could look upstairs.
Tyler picked up a random orb and next thing he knew he was a golden room. A girl who looked like Kate only nine and with blond hair no glasses was lying on a bed. "That was a nightmare, sorry you had to deal with that Tyler." She said and he saw a eight year old him climb onto the bed and laid beside her. "It's okay Lily. At least we're in safe." He smiled at her. "This lamp is pretty safe." Lily but he was pretty sure was a younger Kate smiled. "Were those men killers?" Young Tyler asked. "Close. Witch hunters. They want to kill anyone who is a witch or thought to be one." Lily answered. "Why would they try and kill us? We aren't witches. They didn't see us do magic." Young Tyler asked. "We are lucky they didn't see us do any. I am a witch though." Lily answered. "No! You can't be! Witches have green skin and warts and are evil and plus you're a genie!" Young Tyler protested. "Not all witches look like that Tyler. I'm not completely evil." Lily answered visibly scared. "You're not going to hurt me, are you?" Young Tyler started to cry. "No, no. Of course not. Never will I mean to hurt you. But one day my dark magic I can't control will take over and you will save me. My friend Genie who was Genie before me told me this. I think she's just goofing around." Lily smiled. "I think so too." Young Tyler smiled as the memory ended.
Tyler blinked his eyes and he was back in Kate's hideout. "Wait...what the hell? Oh, I guess I goofed up and picked up one of them," he admitted, growing red in the face with embarrassment. "FIND IT YET?! I THINK IT'S IN THE KITCHEN!" Kate yelled from upstairs. "Uh, I think?" he said back, still in shock. He walked into the kitchen. He looked in odd places Kate could've put it. Then he opened the oven to find a pot. "What's cooking?" He wondered aloud and inside was a notebook with a bunch hearts saying A+M or Aleesha S. and Madeleine D. all over the place in bad handwriting. "What the?" Tyler said weirded out. He opened the book and inside was a crappy drawing of a 2 girls. One with blond hair and one one with brown hair, each in a different shade of blue sweater. He decided to ignore it for now and looked further. Inside in bad writing was a list the said: "Seth Drew's Brain Games Victims (magically added as more join the list)" and multiple names. Tyler scanned through the list seeing if he recognized any names. Only a couple stood out: Madeline Dickson, Missouri Hood, Jasmine Coccimiglio, Nick MacMillan and his own name.
