Harry's POV
As I got on my lunch break, I walked into 'Chick-Fil-A'. "Hi, can I get the chicken sandwich with waffle fries, and a medium Coke?" I asked the small girl across the counter. Looking around 15 or 16, I could tell she was exhausted.
"Of course, would you like any sauce with that, sir?" Ordering a honey mustard, she typed in the total. "The total is 4.44", I smiled and payed. I gave her a 20 dollar tip. "Sir, you don't have to-" I interupted her.
"Look, you're young, you deserve it. You look exhausted, take off some shifts. I promise you won't regret it", I suggested to her. "Thank you for the advice. I'll think about it", she handed me the bag of food. "Have a good day", she called as I walked away. "You too", I told the small girl.
After lunch, I headed back over to the hospital. I went into the ICU wing, seeing Liam standing there. "Hey Li", I greeted him. "We just got a patient that needs emergency surgery. I think they need some assistance in the OR.
I walked in the big operating room, seeing an middle aged woman, probably around her late 30's, early 40's. Looking at the chart, I saw that the woman had tried to commit suicide, had a bullet in her head.
Little did I know that woman would change my life.
