"I'm so so sorry."
Tsukishima's eyes widened at her words
He was desperately searching her face for a clue. Anything that could help him understand what was going on.
But all he saw was the girl crumbling before him
He had never seen her like this. Even with everything going on she always had a smile on.
But seeing her like this scared him
really badly.
"Hey (Y/N) whats going on?"
(Y/N) eyes darted from his gaze, It hurt her to look at him.
She didn't know if she should tell him
I have been you're soulmate the entire time and I thought making you think I was dead was for the best, but it actually hurt you more.
She couldn't just say that.
It didn't help that the rain was pouring on her.
Tsukishima was mad, How was he supposed to help her if she wouldn't tell him anything.
"(Y/N) just tell me." he looked into (Y/N)'s eyes
"no more secrets"
(Y/N) did know what to say, instead she decided to show him.
Tsukishima looked down at his leg, He felt something wash over his body, the warmth filling him all the way down to the tips of his fingers.
Then he felt it.
An ache filled his body, the cut on his leg burned.
But all that seemed like nothing.
"You're... you're not dead.."
Tsukishima couldn't believe it. He didn't know if he was happy, sad, or mad. Instead he felt a wave of emotions fill him.
(Y/N) did this to me.
(Y/N) cried as Tsukishima's eyes filled with realization.
He wanted to reach out and hold her and tell her it was okay.
But it wasn't
He could only mutter one word
"Why?"
(Y/N)'s looked up from the ground and into his eyes
"I didn't want anyone else to hurt, I thought it would help. I didn't realize..."
He began to laugh
(Y/N)s eyes widened
I think I broke him
Tsukishima couldn't believe what was happening. It was like some twisted joke of fate and the more he thought about it the more lost he got.
So he decided not to think.
Instead he decided to just do what he wanted.
He grabbed (Y/N)'s hand and began to walk back.
(Y/N) wanted him to be mad, yell at her. Maybe even storm off.
"Aren't you mad?"
Tsukishima sighed
"I don't even know anymore."
