Chapter Thirteen - Reunion

Aiko tossed and turned in her bed, discomfort finally started to settle in.  It wasn't long before she sat up in fear, fresh images of the nightmare playing through her mind. She looked around the room and walked over to the dresser, opened it and took one of Garret's shirts. "hope he doesn't mind" she said to herself, getting changed out of her clothes and put Garrets shirt on, just like her brothers looked like a dress. She left the room and walked down to the portal room where she found Garret sleeping. "hi Garret" she smiled.

Garret got up, sitting against the wall. Realizing he had falling asleep down in the portal room. " uhhg, Im still so tired" he says yawning his canines still larger than they should be; he looks like a scruffy puppy. He looked up to see Aiko but he noticed a large crack is on the portal from top to bottom. " I wonder what caused that" almost breaking into another yawn.

"It's nice to see you too Garret" she says, leaning against the wall and grabbing her arms realizing how cold the room is. "Did you have a nice sleep down here?" trying her best to give him a smile. She ruffled up her hair and looked back up the stairs "Nate must be really exhausted coming back from limbo like that, I hope him and Lilthia are okay"

" I hope so too, it was a pain going there." he says getting up. Looking at Aiko, " Im more concerned if your okay." giving her a big smile. " We should probably head upstairs." scruff her hair as he goes past her. He gets to the stairs and yawns again.

Aiko tucked her hair behind her ears and hopped up the stairs she came down only a couple of minutes earlier. "Are you still tired Garret?" she asked, squeezing her hands around his arm, and looking up to him. and smiling.

"I'm okay, still a bit sleepy is all." he says cuddling into her. " Might sleep all day to recover" joking to Aiko. A part of him makes him scratch her back. Going from top to bottom. It's not deep but slighty agreesive. Garret smiled "I don't know what happened to me there." his hand on Aiko's back.

 Aiko took his hand and started to walk backwards "well if you need to rest lets go to the bedroom" she says, before falling over one of the floor tiles to the portal room and landing hard on her butt. "Owie!" she cried out, "that really hurt!"

Garret leaned down and picked her up. " You okay, my mate?" his hand on her butt as he holds her. Taking her upstairs he carries her to one of the couches and puts her on it gently. " Is there anything that might help make the pain go away?"

looking up at him she smiled, "i dont know, maybe staying in bed with you and cuddling into you. I know that would make me happy" she replied. "I am a bit cold and it would be nice to lay next to you" she put her arms in the air and smiled. "Hug! since your mates sore" she giggled.

He giggled and hugged her tightly. " I'd like that too, Ill keep you warm forever" he says romantically, picking her up. Holding onto her butt again with his other hand on her back, he carries her upstairs, talking about random stuff. " I could get you some hot chocolate to help you warm up" going into his room and laying her on the bed, sitting in the covers with her.

"mmm hot chocolate sounds really nice, but who need hot chocolate when i have a werewolf to cuddle!" she wrapped her arms around him and cuddled into his chest "you are my hot chocolate, i dont need warm drinks, i've got you" she moaned as she cuddled into Garret and the covers "I could stay like this forever"

" I want to stay like this, cuddling with my Aiko" he says pulling the covers around the both of them. Then puts his arms around her. He kisses her cheek and his werewolf side makes him nibble her ear a little before he smiles at her lovingly into her eyes. " I love cuddling you"

"I love you Garret" she giggles closing her eyes and cuddling him tighter.
