Mew woke up to Gulf staring at him, smiling at him. Mew felt his heart turn over as that beautiful man looked at him. "I love you," Mew said first thing. He pulled Gulf tightly into his chest.

"What?" Gulf asked.

"I love you," Mew repeated himself. "I'm sorry, because I promised this was just business, but it isn't anymore. I love you."

Gulf pushed himself away from Mew's chest so that he could look into his eyes, searching them for the angle that he didn't want to find. "Are you serious?"

Mew blushed, but he nodded his head. "I..."

And then he couldn't say anything else because Gulf was kissing him. It felt so right and so good and Mew kissed him back, sliding his hands down Gulf's fucking perfect body, tangling their tongues and threading their fingers through each other's hair, and then Gulf slid his hands down to cup Mew's ass.

It was a new sensation, one that Mew had never felt before, a welcomed man's hands on his ass. His hips jerked into Gulf's erection, and he was moaning at all of the sensations that he had never felt before. All he knew was that he wanted everything that Gulf was doing to him and everything that he wanted from him.

His phone rang, and Mew pulled away from Gulf. "Sorry, babe," he apologized as he reached over to pick his phone up.

"You and Gulf should probably head on down now," Perth said, his voice low and urgent. "Dad heard that mom and Alexander were here, and then mom told him about you and Gulf and me and Saint, and now mom and dad and your mom and Alexander are all in my apartment, and Saint can't even make them stop arguing with each other... "

"Shit," Mew said, rolling out of bed. "I'll be right there."

Perth hung up the phone, and Mew looked at Gulf with regret in his eyes. "We have to go downstairs. My mom and step-dad are about to start World War Three in Perth's apartment."

Gulf nodded, and they quickly cleaned up. Mew disappeared from Gulf's sight for only a second, and then he came back into his room and stole one more kiss from Gulf before they went downstairs, and Perth quickly let them into the apartment.

It was loud and chaotic, and Gulf couldn't believe that Perth's mom and dad were yelling as loudly as they were.

He was instantly attracted to the small Asian woman on the couch. She wore a red business-like dress with a red hat on her very black hair, and her lips were painted the same red as her shoes. She wore white hand gloves and sat primly on one of Perth's chairs. She looked so much like Mew that Gulf was shocked.

It took him a long moment to realize that everyone in the room was staring at Gulf and Mrs. Suppasit, just staring at each other.

"Who are your parents?" Mrs. Suppasit demanded of Gulf as recognition hit her face, her Thai accent strong. "Who are your parents?" she demanded again, panic filling her voice.

"My parents?" Gulf asked.

"Why do I remember you?"

"What is your name?" Mrs. Suppasit demanded, her eyes squinting, trying to make sure that she recognized the man standing in front of her. He looked so much like his father and mother she knew whose son he was without even needing to ask.

"Gulf Kanawut," he answered. "Why do I know you?"

Mae Suppasit looked at her son, at the look of absolute love and terror on his face for her actions, her heart broke for him. He had tried to keep him out of the Thai mess, as she liked to call it. She had moved him to a different country, put him under the protection of the strongest man she could find, and here it was again, staring her in the face. "No," she whispered.

"Mom," Mew said, his hand wrapping around Gulf's protectively. Mae's heart broke to see that gesture, her beloved son holding that man's hand. Would fate always deal with these two families a hand that was impossible to play?

"What's the matter?" he demanded.

"Love any man in the world, Mew," Mae said, "I don't care about that. I will welcome another son. You cannot love a Kanawut. Love this man over here," he gestured to Alexander, "but you cannot love that one."

"Mom, Gulf is a good man," Mew started to say, a little weirded out because his mother was always so very much against Alexander even visiting them.

"I think your mom has a good point," Alexander broke in. His blue eyes said that he thought this entire thing was a joke.

"Mae, I think they really love each other," Perth said, trying to stick up for her brother, even though Mae was acting a little crazy.

Mr. Suppasit's face was pale. "Gulf Kanawut? Son of Ankit Kanawut?"

"How do you know my dad's name?" Gulf asked, his face almost frightened. Something in his memory was trying to force its way back into the forefront of Gulf's mind, and he didn't know what it was, but that woman, Mew's mother, was connected with it in some way.

"Get out of my daughter's home," Mr. Suppasit said, his rather plain face transforming into something else, something frightening and protective. "Mew, you cannot continue to see this man who wants death for me and this family."

"Michael, I'm already a traitor to you and this family, remember?" Mew asked, pulling Gulf tighter into his arms like he could protect him from his mom and his step-dad.

"He's going to want to kill you once he finds out who we are, Mew," Mae told her son. "You are holding the instrument of your own destruction."

"Just, step away from him, son," Mr. Suppasit said, and he pulled a gun out of his pants pocket. "Step away. I'll pay the police off..."

Mew slid his own gun out of the back of his pants, flicking the safety off with his thumb and he leveled his own gun at his step-father, shoving Gulf behind him. The two men were pointing guns at each other and the women in the house were screaming at them to put their guns down, and Saint was shoving Perth behind him while Alexander stepped up and pulled both guns out of Mew's and his stepmom's ex-husband's hands.

"I think that we all need to say a few more words before bullets start flying," Alexander said calmly. He quickly pulled the clips out of the guns, and Mew remembered that Sweden had mandatory military service until last year and that Alexander had completed his duty in the Marine Corps. Of course, Alexander didn't know that Mew was still armed, but he was going to wait until his step-dad pulled his second gun before Mew did the same.

"How long were you planning on killing my son?" Mr. Suppasit demanded.

"Gulf doesn't want to kill me," Mew said, wondering why his step-dad was saying such crazy things.

"He's my boyfriend!"

"Answer me, Gulf Kanawut," Mr. Suppasit almost spit out Gulf's last name. "How long?"

"I don't want to kill Mew," Gulf said, his face so frightened that Mew's heart was breaking. Why was his step-dad scaring his boyfriend?

"How could you not want to kill the son of the man that killed your father?" Mr. Suppasit scoffed.
