Chapter 3: Not a Fairytale Ending (Part 2)
~Aria~
"We are never ever ever!!! Getting back together!!!" I sang out of tune: hand in the air and hyper face on. Hazel was on the driver's seat: trying to focus on the road so we don't get hit by taco trucks. Also... we had Tay Tay Swift on the radio (and no I am not drunk (I just had some Pepsi that's all)).
Hazel shouted back from the blaring music, "Ari! Shut up! I'm trying to follow the road but you're distracting me with Taylor Swift songs! Get something a bit more quieter... like Ed Sheeran." I rolled my eyes and pulled a disgust face over her boring one.
"Who likes Ed Sheeran?" I moaned.
"I do!" Hazel recalled. "And I'm the driver! So sit up and be presentable you arse: we're finally going to meet the Yogscast!!" Then came the fangirl squeals. I ignored her all throughout the past 5 minutes, before I realised that something wasn't right.
I looked up to the clock on my phone.
6:00pm
"Hazel..." I said calmly. "Aren't suppose to pick Steph up at her and the boy's place?" Looking back at my 'now clam fangirl friend', I saw her purse her lips and nodded. Suddenly, she spun the car using the wheel. I unluckily had hit the cold glass window with my face by gravity as Hazel stopped and hazily laughed.
"Oops... sorry," She apologised and I dusted my chiffon dress clean.
After that drama: we finally arrived in front of their driveway. I couldn't believe my eyes. For so long I've been a fan for the Hat boys... and now I'm at their house picking their special editor.
I thought out loud and said, "I can't believe it's been 7 months since Steph moved here."
"I know," Hazel replied as we both leaped out of the car and walked over to the door. The lights were off from the windows, but I barely heard any sound also. Hazel then said, "There's no one here."
"Let's check and knock," I went over to the door and pressed the doorbell by at least ten times or so. Confusion lingered on my face. "Maybe they went since we forgot." I looked back at Hazel, who was already at the car.
She insisted, "Maybe, we'll check when we get there." The two of us agreed for once and went back to listening darn Ed Shizzle songs until we reached the large building complex of Yog FREAKING TOWERS!!!!
"HOLY COW IT'S YOGTOWERS!!!" Hazel gasped – mouth opened wide – as she stared at the beauty of something every Yognaught had ever dreamed of.
"Glad that Hazel is taking it all in for once," I looked at a different direction: to spot that familiar face anywhere but Steph's face. Running to greet Marcus, I gave him a warm friendly hug.
I said, "Sup wittle Marcus Butler! I haven't seen you for ages!"
"Uh," He raised an eyebrow at me. "I saw you two weeks ago."
"Oh..." I muttered in embarrassment, "I forgot you went to London and found us lying on the pavement: passed out and hangover." Trying to memorise but fail, I move back and dust my dress again.
What? I'm OCD about dresses.
Hazel had stopped praising over the building and gone over to us inside. With that, I asked Marcus if he had seen his sister anywhere.
He shook his head and said, "I only just got here from my place. I was just about to go up until your car went up the driveway." I start to wonder for Steph as the three of us entered the lift and speedily got up to the correct floor. As the doors sprung open, Marcus walked out first: leading us to the familiar corridor. Hazel widened her eyes of madness and craziness.
