More often than not you have to coax Lassie into relaxing, and when he's on a case it's almost impossible to do so. When you do relax the both of you sit down and watch a movie, or just talk. You talk about everything from how your day was to each other take on recent events going on in the world. Most days you call Lassiter after he gets off work and force him to just talk to you about everything that happened that day. And after moving in when he gets home you enforce the same routine. Many many years later Lassie admits that those talks helped him through a lot of things.
Nicknames:
In public Lassies stance on nicknames was that they were stupid. Why would anyone ever want to be called Babe or Dear? Being called a baby or a wild animal that's hunted for sport doesn't seem sweet but condescending. But in private Lassie often refers to you by Hun, Love, and even Sweetie on rare occasions.
After meeting Shawn you took inspiration from him and often referred to Lassiter by crazy random names.
Contact Names:
When you had just started dating Lassiter kept you under a fake name so that when you texted him if Shawn was around he wouldn't make fun of Lassiter. But eventually it moved to simply your name with the word girlfriend in parenthesis next to it. Lassiter didn't see a reason to use a cheesy nickname, he thought it was stupid. He always explained that it was because if he got hurt then they would know what your name was and to call you. After a whole year Lassiter finally conceded and changed your name to 'Girlfriend'.
His name in your phone had been Sheep Dog since day one, which he hated. But Lassie-dog was much too straight forward and boring.

Hugs:
Lassiter has multiple different types of hugs and you can always tell his mood by the way he hugs you. Front hugs means something is wrong and he needs comfort. Back hugs means he is content and happy. Side hugs with one arm means he's a little jealous (probably because of something Shawn said). And a side hug with two arms means he angry and is trying to calm down.
PDA:
Kissing? Big no no, especially at work, gotta keep it professional after all. But hugging and touching is a constant. Out in public Lassiter always has at least a hand on your arm. Mainly because deep down he can't believe your are actually there and the physical act of touching you reminds him you aren't in his imagination. But it's also just a little because he wants all the guys around to know you are his girl.
