TW: Crying/small panic attack.
Emile shifted in his and Remy's bed. He felt around for the Sleep Side, only to feel nothing. The bed was still warm from when Remy was in it, indicating he left recently.
Emile has been sick for a few days and still hasn't gotten better. He was more clingy as well and wouldn't let go of Remy, so Emile panicked that he was being too clingy and made Remy leave. Emile curled up in bed and tried hard not to cry, thinking about the 'what ifs'. He started to cry silently and covered his eyes.
The door opened and Remy walked in. He sighed and closed it. He looked over to his boyfriend and his eyes widened once he saw the state his boyfriend was in.
"Emile!" Remy hurried over and quickly sat down on the bed, pulling Emile into his lap. Remy hugged his boyfriend tightly to his chest as Emile grabbed Remy's shirt. "It's okay, baby... you're okay."
Remy laid down with Emile in his arms, whispering sweet nothings to him. Emile smiled slightly and felt tired again. He looked at Remy, his vision blurry since he had no glasses on. Emile kissed Remy, missing his lips slightly. Remy pulled away and chuckled.
"You missed, baby." Remy kissed Emile on the lips and Emile relaxed into it. Even if Emile was sick, Remy still kissed him and gave him attention. One of the many reasons why Emile loved the Sleep Side. Emile pulled away and hugged Remy with all his strength. Remy held him and adjusted them to where they were more comfortable with Emile slightly on top of Remy.
Emile sniffled and muttered, "I love y-you..."
"I love you more." Remy smiled as he placed a kiss on Emile's forehead.
Remy softly hummed a lullaby, making Emile tired. Emile slowly closed his eyes, nodding off to sleep, but he refused.
"Get your sleep, babe. You need it." Remy whispered.
Emile nodded off again; this time, actually going to sleep.
Remy smiled a bit and went to sleep as well.
