Phone call and Dinner

A ringing phone wakes Pete up.He puts his hand on the table  stand beside the bed reaching for it.Picks it without thinking twice in his sleeping mood.Before he could talk.

"Ae my love....I can't wait to see you....your coming right....you promised....I am wearing maroon lingeries....just the way you like it....aaahhh.....love....I can't wait to feel your touch....don't be late okay....Ae.....sweetheart..talk to me Ae..... I miss you....love " A cute male voice .

Pete hangs up.He starts to cry.

Why can't Ae love him.

What is he lacking .

What can't he give Ae.

Will Ae ever love him.

He didn't even know Ae likes maroon colour leave alone Lingeries.

What is he to Ae.

Why can't Ae choose him.

When will Ae ask him to leave his life.

Can't he satisfy Ae's needs.

Ae wakes up and looks at crying Pete.

"What's wrong.... Are you in pain..?" Ae asks in his sleeping voice.

Pete wipes his tears "am okay Ae I just ......I don't know.......I'll go clean up so shall you Nana will call for dinner soon" Pete gets out of bed.

Pete cries his heart out in the shower.He's heart is broken.Will he ever give Ae what he wants.Does he even have it.He took 30minutes in the shower.Ae cleans up and they head to the dinning room.

Nana brings baby Nadia to her parents .Pete feeds him as Nana prepares the table.Ae reads a magazine.

Dinner is ready they give nana baby Nadia ,sit and eat.There is a lot of silence .

"Ae.....someone called you earlier...." Pete continues eating.

"Yeah.... Who.....what did they want.." Ae spoke with food in his mouth.

"Mmnh.....maybe you should just call them back and ask...." Pete.

"Why ..didn't they tell you anything...." Ae looks at Pete.

"Mmnh yeah they did...."Pete calms himself down from crying .

" Then just tell me....."Ae stops eating and studies  Pete's face.Pete doesn't look at him.Pete signs .

"He said that he misses you ....(he keeps eating)your touch ,he wears your favorite color ,
maroon lingiries ....(voice breaks down)that you shouldn't be late he's waiting for you.." Pete blinks tears away and pretends not to be affected.

Ae is silent .It's like he has been thrown into a pool of cold water.He takes an intense look at Pete.He feels like he has just been caught red handed cheating but they ain't a thing right.So he shouldn't feel like that.

"Are you okay.." Ae.Pete stops  eating ,looks up at him and smiles thinly.

"Yes Ae am okay.....(baby Nadia cries)your baby is crying I'll check  on her ....aahhmmm...am done eating you can wind up....get full before you leave okay.." Pete stands up and goes to his baby's room.

Pete tries to make the baby stop crying but she can't stop. He swings her and hymns for her but still no improvement. Ae looks in ,finds the baby crying,stands behind Pete ,puts his arms around them helping in holding the baby and swings along with Pete.

After awhile the baby sleeps.Ae kisses her head .

"Am leaving....goodnight I'll see you guys tomorrow...take care....." Ae leaves afterwards.

Pete puts the baby to bed and drops besides the bed and cries again.He knows where Ae is going and what he is going to do.He can't stop thinking about it.Earlier he pretended not to care but it's killing him inside.

He wants more from Ae but can't and will never have him not even after giving him a baby.

"My boy what's wrong.... Mr Ae just left did you two fight.....is he not leaving me....are you crying." Nana booms Pete with questions. Pete cleans his face ,stands up and looks at his sleeping baby.

"Am okay Nana..... He will not leave Ae and can you please look after my baby am tired and still sleepy.... Bring her to me when she wakes up...." Pete kisses his baby and heads for his room.

That night he couldn't sleep.He keeps imagining Ae with the guy that called him earlier.How the guy makes him feel good and how he is never enough .Hr keeps questioning his soul belongs to Ae.why he can't fuck him off his life. Even if he wants to cut him off now it will be hard because their daughter keeps them together.

Thoughts took him his night .All of it.He finally sleeps at 5 am .Thank goodness baby Nadia never woke up and if ever she did then Nana Grace took care of her.
