"Good morning sleeping beauty" Evan kissed Kaila. He wore a casual sweater and jeans to counter the mildly cold Southern California weather. Kaila yawned, as she still was clothed in one of his button down shirts, revealing her black bra and slippers. Even when she became a famous singer/actress, she always stayed as the celebrated homegirl. It was one of the many things that Evan loved about her.

"I only wake up early for a few things: work, church and YOU" she playfully retorted. Kaila was not a morning person, unless she was forced to. Evan laughed as he poured himself a glass of orange juice. "I know and I appreciate it. Just wanted some 'us' time before the babies get up."

Kaila cut into her eggs and took a hearty bite. "We have to cherish these moments while we can. It's about to be crazy, with you going into your big film starting today, and me learning how to balance motherhood while slowly getting back into my career."

Evan took her hand and squeezed it. "Babe, you are doing an amazing job with being a mom. The twins adore you. And I admire you for not wanting a lot of help from nannies. You are gonna be just fine. You have your songwriting session with Reginald tomorrow right?" Kaila nodded. "Yeah. I have a lot of inspiration to sing about. Especially being with you and now our babies," she smiled her signature grin and squeezed his hand back. "I don't know though. I'm excited, but nervous about this thing... you know what I'm saying? How are you feeling about this movie?"

"Excited to be partnering with Liam on this production because you know he's practically family. But, also kind of dreading the timeframe and when I'll have to be away from you and the kids at times for location shoots."

"I'm gonna not like that too, no lie." Kaila said. "But I'll be cool about it, for now." She narrowed her enchanting cocoa eyes. "So um... who's your little costar again? That Ava St. James girl right? I've heard some off the wall shit about her, but you never know of course what's true or not in the celeb world."

"Yeah, I don't know if it's all talk or blog rumor stuff, but Liam told me that she really nailed it in her audition, so he decided to give her a chance."

Kaila tapped her manicured nails on her coffee mug. "Well hopefully she can help carry that movie with you and appeal to the younger audiences. She is a pretty little thing... don't you think?" she continued to narrow her eyes at Evan. He smiled, thinking how cute his wife could be when she was a bit covetous. It was funny that although Kaila was one of the most desired women in Hollywood, she still felt the need to mark her territory. Evan shrugged. "She looks like the typical conventional young actress. Honestly, she'll look good in a swimsuit and a dress to get the guy moviegoers going in between the action scenes."

"Hmmm.... I think I'll move my sessions and bring the kids and come on location with you." Kaila laughed, although half joking. Evan chuckled. "Babe, you are my forever and always and the most beautiful woman I've ever laid eyes on. Nothing or no one can compare." Kaila leaned in. "You better say that. I love you." "I love you too." Evan replied. After they have a quick makeout session, Evan also kisses his kids and heads out to the studio in his Range Rover for the cast meet and greet and reading.
