"Where You Are"

Chapter 2

The morning quickly went through into the afternoon. The entire cast and crew of the anticipated Summer blockbuster film called Captured Suspension were excited to finally be together. Liam's writing and production team did a wonderful job with a very solid script. It would be a great way to enrich their acting chops and for some (like Ava), it would enrich their careers. Besides a couple of flop films, Evan had consistently been a box office draw. For this reason alone, Ava knew that this was a huge opportunity for her career and she didn't have very few chances left to take a stab at ascending herself into superstardom.

Throughout the meet and greet, Ava couldn't help but take subtle glances at Evan as he helped anchor and navigate the meeting. He was charming, surprisingly down to earth, and extremely attractive. These were all rare characteristics based off her experience of the pricks, dicks and tricks she had encountered during her time in "Hollyweird". She could easily see why he was good friends with Liam Weiss; they both had good energy. Too bad he was married to "The One and Only" multi-talented and well-known Kaila Whitfield (now) Cooper. And now they had adorable babies. Kaila seemed to have it all: Extremely good looks, a huge talent and career, and a fine adoring husband and babies. Shit's not fair in life sometimes she thought to herself. That's the perfect life she always wanted to have. The world she craved. That kind of talent to rival the world. The fine ass man who had it going on....

Stop it Ava, Don't even go there. Not today. Just be happy you are here.

Speaking of Evan, he hadn't said much except a handshake and smile so far. She hoped that he would like her. She HAD to have him like her in this movie for it all to work out. They had some juicy scenes together and he is set up to be a subtle love interest. She was pleased to find out that they kiss at the end of the movie.

Take that Kaila. The whole world will get to see me kiss your man...

That made her feel better.

They wrapped up for the day; Ava was able to read a bit of her part with confidence and looked over to Evan for his expressions. By his raised eyebrows and nod, it seemed that he indeed was impressed.

She needed to say something to him. But before she could come towards him, he walked over towards her. "Ava, nice to finally meet you. Sorry, it's been a crazy day. I would have said hello a lot sooner." Ava coolly took his hand, shook it and smiled. "Likewise Evan, it's a pleasure and honor to work with you, really."

Evan trained his eyes to meet hers; he didn't want to make any moves of trailing her curvy body. He didn't want any inclination or misunderstandings. He only wanted to stay professional and didn't have a desire for a wondering eye, even from an attractive, young actress. "You did a great job on your read today. I see why Liam was impressed." Ava found herself blushing "Oh my God, thank you so much. I am excited to be working with you" You already said that idiot she thought to herself. Evan gave his famous grin, seemingly not noticing. "Hey, me too. I think you are gonna kick ass in this role. Just let me or anyone know how we can support you, okay?" he put his hand on her arm subtly and she fought the chills that desired to form down her spine. "Sounds like a plan Evan. I'm glad to be here."

Evan winked before walking away "See you tomorrow"

"Byyyyeee" Ava found herself extending her vowels in adoration. Looking around, she cleared her throat and straightened her designer Akris dress that she splurged on to impress that day. Ava had never felt like such a schoolgirl crushing hard as she did in that moment. Fuck yeah, he likes me!. I'm in already.... I'll do whatever it takes and whatever he wants.

Whatever he wants and whatever it takes  she repeated to herself.
