High school came around.
It was a whole new atmosphere I found myself in.
There was people older than me, people I could look up to.
The colours of the rainbow I knew had suddenly expanded.
It was so beautiful.
I didn't feel so imprisoned anymore.
I was slowly building up my wings trying to find my place among others.
When I look back at it now I'm proud of how much I achieved despite all the things I went through.
It wasn't so easy but I did it
And I am so glad.
As my world grew bigger I slowly started opening up more.
I observed, I thought, I knew
We were never in the same class though we felt so close somehow...
It was our personalities that matched so well.
I got drawn right in-
Fell so deep and hit myself hard.
I was so clueless at first
I didn't know what was going on
I had never felt that before
it wasn't just a crush, it was so much more because it took so long for me to realise that
she was my everything.
