The school musical and gone and went. Megan was happy to finally have the worst month of her life over. In the meantime, her and Ryder had went on a couple of dates. He had finally broken her shell. Though, she wasn't too happy about it. It kind of ruined her tough girl edge that she has. But, the glee club were preparing for their sectionals against the Haverbrook School for the Deaf and Oral Intensity.
Megan was sitting in her usual corner in the choir room, listening to Alisha argue with Kitty over what the set list should be.
"All I'm saying is that Wicked is the musical that changed musical theatre history! And that's why I think we should only include songs from the soundtrack in our set list!"
"We all know that the Spice Girls are a crowd pleaser!"
"Guys! Shut up" Jake shouts. Which finally gets the girls to stop bickering. "You do realise that the theme for Sectionals is Soundtrack, Kitty?" He added.
"The Spice Girls had a movie." Kitty says and sits back down in her seat.
"Thank you for your contributions girls but I think we're gonna stay clear of the Wicked route for this competition" April says while standing up from her stool, holding a bundle of sheet music. "Ever heard of a little show called Smash?" She asks while handing the sheet music to Kevin
"Ugh, really? My mom use to watch that while she done the laundry" He whaled, while taking the pile of sheets and handing them out. There where mummers of 'what is that show?'s and 'I can't believed it got cancelled!'s
"Anyway, we are going to have one solo" April says, ignoring what Kevin had just said.
"Alisha I want you to take the solo," she continues while handing Alisha her sheet music.
"Never Give All The Heart?" Alisha questions and shrugs her shoulders accepting it. She looks up at April and gives her a smile "Thanks"
"Kitty and Jake I want you to feature in a dance number to I Never Met A Wolf, Unique singing lead" April continues handing out more sheet music to everyone this time.
"And to finish off because of their great Sinatra performance; Ryder and Megan I would like you to sing the final number Big Finish" she finishes handing the two their papers.
Ryder looked up at Megan with a grin so big that you would've thought he slept with a hanger in his mouth. Megan gives him a quick smile and starts playing with the corners of the paper, she had only sang in front of a large audience in a fat suit as Tracy never as herself so she began to doubt herself.
