LIBRA
I walked beneath her for years
but I never once dared to look
at the brightness she did shine.
I wanted to learn how she could manage
to rise each morning and sleep in peace at night.
Until I realised neither of them sleep at all.
As my life had become as restless
as a sleeping man's loose shadow.

She's a golden affair
held up high in the air.
I want to be her
to wish with her
to see her
shine like the sun
in the sky,
yet be the moon so divine.
My secret golden affair.
