When she awoke, she found herself gasping for air. "You're okay, it was just a dream," Peeta said, trying to calm her down. "It was more than just a dream," Katniss said, trying to steady her breathe. He knew exactly what she meant, that Snow was real, but he didn't want to say anything and alert the Capitol and Snow, so he simply said, comforting her, "I know!"
When they arrived in District 2, they went and looked for Enobaria. They found her in the quarry, she was crushing rock. "Hey Enobaria!" Peeta said. "I wasn't expecting to see here, why are you here?" she asked.
"Well, that is what we needed to talk to you about, it's important," Peeta said. "Okay, let me go sign out of my shift, then we can talk," Enobaria said. She went into the main building and returning ten seconds later. Then they started to walk to her house in District 2’s Victor's Village.
They arrived at her house and looked around, their Victor's Village looked much nicer than 12's. Her house was the third house on the right. The houses in 2 are bigger than the 12, mostly because they served as Peacekeepers for the Capitol before, just as 1 did.
They entered her house, and sat in the living room. "So what was so important?" Enobaria asked. "Okay, you may or may not have heard, but Snow really isn't dead and the Capitol is trying to regain our freedom and have things to go back to the way it was before the rebellion," Peeta told her. "What do we need to do?" Enobaria asked. "We are going to overcome the Capitol like they did to us, the Games," Peeta said.
"Is anything else that can help us defeat the Capitol, or that they can use as leverage?" Enobaria asked. "Well, Katniss is pregnant, he is trying to kill her, the baby, and all of Panem, and we are housing two girl's parents that the Capitol killed when they invaded six," Peeta said. "Okay, we'll have to keep it all silent until we find out a way to use it all as our advantage," Enobaria said.
"Do you know of anyone who is strong or talented enough to compete in the Games?" Gale asked. "Maybe, we may have to check the quarry and we’ll have to see if any of the old peacekeepers would compete," Enobaria said.
They headed to the quarry and looked around. "Hey Brier, we need to talk to you," Enobaria said. Brier came over, he was a tall, broad male with dark hair, like most people from the Seam. He looked to be about 19 or 20. "Hey what's wrong?" he asked. "I'll tell you once I can find Cornel and Rogue," she said, looking around to see if she could spot them. "Oh, I know where they are, hold on I'll go get them," Brier said, heading into a building.
He returned a minute later with an average height male and an average height female, who had a scare going across her face. They looked tough and ready to fight, Katniss was worried how they'd handle the news, but she was confident that they'd have a better chance of winning if all of them were on their team.
They went back to Enobaria's house and she explained everything to them. "We need you guys to defeat the Capitol," Peeta said. "I don't know if I want to risk my life for freedom," Cornel said. "Please, would your mind change if we told you something important?" Peeta said. "It depends on what it is," Cornel said. "Katniss is pregnant and she is more vulnerable than ever and she needs your help to save her, the Capitol, and our freedom," Peeta said. "Okay, fine!" Cornel said, reluctantly. "Okay, we are going to go back to 12 so we can train, bring any weapons or anything that can help you train, the train leaves for District 3 in a half of an hour and anything that you heard needs to be kept quiet," Peeta said.
