The next morning she awoke to find that her outfit was washed and laid out for her on the chair that was in the corner of the room by the foot of the bed. Peeta's was also laid out for him.

She went to go get into her costume. Once she got her costume on, she went to the bar cart, where she met Gale. He was staring out the window, she approached him. "Hey Catnip!" He said softly, still starring out the window, not taking his attention away from the window. "Hey!" She responded, which was in the same soft tone that he had spoken to her with.

"It's weird how we can be so similar, but so different, if you know what I mean," Gale told her. "Yeah!" Katniss said, agreeing with him. She knew that he didn't mean anything by it, she knew what he meant. As they started out the window, the motionful pictures flashed by them. Then the image of the Capitol came into view on the horizon.

At this sight, Gale straighten his back and let out a deep sigh, still leaning against the window. Katniss saw, from the corner of her eye, him leave the window and go into the next room.

Though she didn't follow, for she was full of anxiety from the images of Snow that raced throughout her and she had no control to stop it. She stood there, starring out the window, supporting herself by leaning on the sill of the window, in deep thought about Snow. As she stood there in the deep thought, she tapped her fingers against the sill.

As she gazed out the window, she heard the door open from behind her, though she was too deep in thought to care to turn around and see who was had just entered the room.

"It's weird how we can end up back here, though this is what we were trying to stop," the voice said, which she instantly recognized as Peeta's. "Well maybe this is the only way," Katniss responded. "I know that you don't believe that," Peeta said, approaching the window.

He now leant on the sill, where Gale had been just a few moments before. Katniss just stared out the window. "Come on, we have to go!" Peeta told her. Saying so, this made Katniss look up and see his deep green eyes. She hesitantly nodded her head and they met up with the others in the main traveling car to get off of the train and go to the place for the parade.

As the train was beginning to come to a halt, Effie made sure to do some last minute checks. As for Haymitch, the scent of alcohol lingered on his breath. He took another shot of whiskey and then set down his glass. As they were leaving, Haymitch followed by Katniss. He whispered to her, "Keep the baby on the low!"

They walked off of the train. There were glaring eyes everywhere. There were also screams, hollers, and whistles from ever which directions. Though most seemed to be cheering for them, there were also a few that seemed to be angered towards them.

They walked to out if the station and headed to the place at which the tributes' parade would be held. As they entered into the building, Katniss noticed a television and on the screen was Caesar Flickerman, she stopped and watched it. The others also noticed and stood next to her and watched.

"We just got word that there will be the Hunger Games!" Caesar said. Katniss heard some gasps from the crowd of people that were around her. They acted as if they weren't told. "It will be the Districts vs. the Capitol and the prize? The prize will be reign over Panem. Which side are you with?" Caesar said. Then the screen turned to some people from the Capitol, "I'm for the Capitol!" One lady with orange hair said. "I'm with the Capitol!" Some other lady said, who had green hair and a green dress on.

Then someone else appeared on the screen, it was her mother, "I'm a hundred percent with the Districts!" She said. Then Hazelle appeared on the screen, "I'm with the Districts!" She told the camera, while washing some laundry.
