like these people above have helped change my life from monochrome to colour with just your presence in my life

You shine like a star in my life

Shining bright in a seven billion constellation

I know your mind is swimming with thoughts

You're climbing Mt Everest and slipping closer and closer off the tip

Though you still manage to trudge through the snow

Through the darkness

With the last hope of light

On the verge of giving up

I'm writing this poem to tell you

I'll always reach my hand down to yours

Pull you back up

We can search for that glow at the end of the cavern

You and I

Whenever you need a shoulder to lean on

Your tears can soak into my shirt

Whenever you need an arm to hold onto

I'll lend you both

Because, no matter what

Together

We'll shine the brightest in this melancholy galaxy

And help it slowly fade from monochrome to colour

The most neon in the universe

You and I

My best friend
