Chapter 13 - Rain

Ezami POV

The sound of the door closing wakes me up from my peaceful sleep. I yawned, opened my eyes and looked around my room to see if someone was there but there's no one in here.

Weird...I thought I heard my door closed.

I rub my tired eyes and look outside the window. "Holy shit!" I gasped as I saw the sun was high up. I coughed as I felt my throat was somehow sore and my eyes were puffy and wet. I looked at the nightstand to see what time is it was but my digital alarm wasn't there. I took my phone and unlocked it and my face paled as the time showed it was 10:23 am. "Shit! I'm very late for school," I cursed under my breath. I get out of my bedroom and go downstairs.

I heard my parents' voices from the dining room, mumbling something but I can't hear them correctly so I got there and my parents immediately stopped talking.

"Hey champ, good morning," Dad said with a smile and I smile back. I loved it when he called me that but the look on their face told me something was wrong but I shrug it off.

"Good morning! I was late for school, Dad," I whined but my parents just laughed. I gave them a confused look and frowned. "What?" I asked.

"Honey it's a summer holiday. School closed for 3 weeks starting today," Mom chuckled as she put three plates of scrambling eggs, sausage and french toast on the table. I was stunned. I can't believe I forget about it. "Go brush your teeth sweetie."

I nod and run upstairs to my room and get inside the bathroom. I brushed my teeth, took a shower, put on new clothes and walked back to my room. As I walked to the door to get outside something caught my eyes on the trash can next to the door. I looked inside and there, in the trash can was my digital alarm. It was broken like someone just threw it to the hard surface.

I rub my forehead as my head hurts, confused by it. Ever since that accident on the mall 2 weeks ago, I notice I move a lot in my sleep and I feel tired in the morning like I don't even sleep at night. I walked back downstairs to the dining room and ate my breakfast. I still don't tell my parents about the accident because I don't want them to worry and now I feel safe with my wolf around me.

After breakfast, I walked back to my bedroom and sat on my back while looking outside the backyard through my big bedroom window. There's a puddle of water in the backyard and there are many water droplets on my bedroom window.

So it must have been raining last night, no wonder I got a peaceful sleep...

I smiled as I enjoyed the view outside. I really love the rain because it's helped me fall asleep just by hearing it.....then something got in my mind. I had a very peaceful sleep last night but I think I was walking in my sleep last night. I frowned in confusion and shook my head to get rid of the thought.

Ting!.

I grabbed my phone on my nightstand as I heard someone texting me. I looked at who it was and smiĺed as I saw it was my wolves.

Ben: Hey babe are you busy today?

Wade: We were planning to go to the beach with the others!

I think for a minute and my attention turns to Dad as he enters my room and takes my trash can and before he walks out I asked, "Dad, can I go to the beach with the others today?"

"Who are you going with, kiddo?" He asked.

"I'm going with Alina and my new friends and also with Ben and Wade."

His face lights up instantly and he smiles widely. "Go ahead then. I'm sure those two miss you so much!" He winked and laughed at my blushing cheek and walked out. I can hear Dad talking with Mom quietly but I ignore it to reply to my wolves text;

Ezami: Sure!

Ben: Great! We will be there in an hour to pick you up babe <3

Ezami: Okay I will get ready! O///O

Ben & Wade: Aww! Okay babe see you later ^3^

I put my phone on my bed and buried my face in my pillow as I screamed in embarrassment. Those two always manage to make me like this and I don't say I hate it, it's quite opposite actually. I got up and walked to my closet to pack my clothes for later.....
