Chapter 12 - My Wolves In Shining Armour

Benson POV

As we chatted while waiting for Ezami to come back a whimper and whine of distress came out of our mouth out of nowhere, making everyone look at us in confusion.

Something's wrong with our mate! I can feel it!...

Wade and I shared the same worried look as our instinct screamed at us to find our mate. We nod at each other and stand up.

"What's wrong guys? Is there something bothe-"

"Something is wrong! WE MUST FIND EZAMI FAST!" I cut Matt off and we bolted away without waiting for them. I sniffed the air and followed our mate's scent and it's leading to somewhere else far from where we are. We panicked and ran as fast as we could while following our mate scent.

"Damn it!" I cursed loudly as I felt the distress, sadness and fear coming from our mate. We knew something happened to him.

As we reached the end of the hallway, we saw a single door with a sign that said 'Men's Bathroom' with 'Out Of Order' sign on the door. We heard a familiar voice screaming and crying for help snapped us out of our thoughts. I sniffed the air again and I froze and growls escaped us. I smelt another scent mixed with our mate scent..it was the smell of another beastman!

We let out a bloody loud roar at the thought of someone touching our mate. I kicked the door open and what I saw in front of me makes me instantly lose control of my body, allowing my primal instinct to take over my body and all I saw was red...

Wadeson POV

Things happened so fast and before I had time to react, Ben charged forward with a primal roar causing the brown wolf shaking with fear. He let go of our mate just as Ben tackled him to the floor. Ezami was lying on the floor with tears falling from his beautiful eyes.

"GET MATE OUT OF HERE NOW!" Ben roared and snarled dangerously as the wolf struggled beneath him. I nod even though he can't see it and rush to our mate and pick him up bridal style. He clenched my shirt tightly and buried his face on my chest as he cried and his body was shaking violently.

"Shhh it's okay babe, you're safe now," I cooed lovingly and walked out of the bathroom, ignoring the loud thump and a crack followed by cries of pain behind us and closed the door.

Unlike me, Ben was someone you should run from when he was angry because he's primal instinct can easily take over and beat someone until they're unconscious. Even though I was very angry with what that wolf tried to do to our mate but I know Ben alone can take care of that bastard. I growled as I smelt the bastard scent on our mate so I nuzzled him and rubbed my scent on him and Ben came out of the bathroom with bloody knuckles and some bloodstain on his face and clothes...

Benson POV

I was panting heavily as I am able to gain control of my body back. I spat angrily at the unconscious bastard underneath me and got up. My knuckles sting painfully but I ignored it as the urge to see my mate kicks in. I walked out of the bathroom and walked toward Wade as we held our mate bridal style and nuzzled him while he clenched Wade's shirt and buried his face on his chest.

I know what Wade was doing so I walked to them, wrapped my hand around Ezami and nuzzled him, rubbing my scent on him to remove the bastard scent from him.

"Are you okay babe? Did the bastard hurt you?" I asked worriedly. My eyes scanned his entire body and growled when I saw red marks on his waist from where the bastard was holding him before.

My growling softened as he looked at me with teary eyes. He shakes his head and says, "I'm okay but my body hurts a little that's all."

I nod and leaned down and lapped his bruised skin on his body. He whined as I licked it and it healed slowly. It was a gift for us beastman who have a human mate to have an ability to heal them with our saliva and It only works between mates and doesn't work if it is used on someone else.

"Hey, guys wh- Oh My God! Ezami what's happened to you?" Parker asked as he and the other arrived.

"He's okay. A pervert bastard tried to rape him but luckily we got here in time before he doing so because I will cut his dick off," Wade said sternly.

They all gasped in shock and looked at Ezami worriedly. I rolled my eyes and said, "Matt, go call the cop. That bastard was unconscious in the bathroom by the way."

He nods and takes his phone out of his pocket and calls the cops. "We should bring him home and tell his pare-" Caily tried to say but got cut off by Ezami.

"N-no it's okay. I'm okay now don't worry. We should continue our hang out and don't tell my parents. I don't want them to get worried."

I looked down at him as he clenched my leather jacket tightly. "Are you sure babe? We don't mind cancelling it and besides, you look pale and I think your parents should know."

He nodded and said, "I'm fine, really. Please don't cancel this just because of me. I'll be fine, trust me." He looked at me with puffy eyes making me sigh in defeat and nod.

The cops come shortly after. We told the infamous german shepherd 'Officer Benson Wademan' what happened as the other officer handcuffed the bastard that was lying on the bathroom floor and took him away. It was so cool that the cop's name is our name. Ezami even managed to convince him not to tell his parents after he gave the officer a puppy dog eyes.

Ezami POV

We make our way to the underground supermarket to buy groceries. My wolf is walking either side of me and their arms wrapped protectively around me. Both of my hands are clenching on their clothes and I never let go even for a second. My body is shaking and they hold me closer.

"It's okay now babe-" they said at the same time. "-we will protect you forever."

My body instantly stops shaking. I looked up at them with flushed red cheeks and nodded. "Thank you-" I said and paused as they stared at me "-My Wolves In Shining Armour." They smiled proudly then nuzzled their face on my neck. I smiled and we continued our shopping
