SATURDAY came faster than I expected. kaya ito ako ngayon, nakalkal sa cabinet ko para mag hanap ng outfit. kaloka kasi tong' si donghyuck bigla nag set ng blind date. ako naman na walang magawa, pumayag din.
kakatapos ko lang maligo, mag f-four na din. I quickly changed into some knee length baggy denim jeans and black triangle top. I'm just going to pair it up with some ballet hells to make the look more coherent. I just dried my hair, and left it at that. I didn't do anything crazy with my hair kasi wala na akong oras. after I fixed my make up and my whole look, hinanda ko na rin yung bag ko para good to go.
while scrolling through my phone to pass some time, napasok bigla sa isip ko yung Jaemin.
through out the whole week hindi ko siya nakita, our paths never crossed again. huling kita ko sa kanya eh dun sa party pa mismo. and that was like weeks ago. ngayon ko lang napagtanto na masyado talaga atang malaki ang neo university.
when the clock strike four-thirty, I check myself one last time before heading out.
on normal days, I'll use my car for transportation, but today is different, nag commute ako. let's just hope na kung sino man yung sinet-up sakin ni donghyuck, eh, may sasakyan.
a few minutes drive later, nakarating din ako sa rexos. it's one of the most well-known restos here in n-city, madalas din kami ni Haeun dito.
pagpasok ko, my eyes quickly scanned the whole area. looking for someone na mag-isa lang, but unfortunately, everyone is either in pairs or groups.
I sighed, before stepping inside. this guy needs to be punctual. it's already 5:05, nagpalate na nga ako ng five minutes tas siya, wala pa.
I quickly occupief one of the vacant tables inside the place as I reached for my phone. ma chat nga tong' si Donghyuck. baka mamaya palya pala tong blind date niya.
agad ko namang hinanap sa kanya yung ka 'blind date' ko kuno, kaso sabi naman niya nandito na daw. kumunot naman ang noo ko, jusmiyo, mapapalpak ata tong' blind date nato.
ngunit agad din napunit ang mga mata ko mula sa aking cellphone ng marinig ang paggalaw ng kaharap kong upuan.
agad akong napatingala at ng mapagtanto kung sino ang bagong dating, halos mapaawang ang labi ko.

"hey." he greeted with a grin before comfortably sitting on the seat opposite from me.
hindi ako nagpatinag kahit nabigla ako. I should have known better, but what are the odds, right? for heaven's sake, Lee Donghyuck, you really did not fail me.

"you're the unpredictable one at the party." ngisi niya, ngumisi ako pabalik at tinaasan siya ng kilay.
