The days are long
Inside her bed
She always longed
For a friend
A hug,
A bug,
Anything works
To soothe the loneliness she felt awake In bed.
Each night is long and boring
As she cried with sadness,
She was alone
Wanted a new home,
Her friends never know the pain she went through
She laughed
But cried
And all of the lies
Form in her eyes
And tumble as she imagined
The lives
Of all her friends
Enjoying themselves
They surely wouldn't need anyone else
But yet she smiled through the pain
And laughed to herself and said that it's such a shame,
Thinking bad stuff about people you love
Trust issues create
the disgust of self-esteem
The girl should be who she should be
She always wanted to be the pleaser
Like a jester,
Preaching for a queen or a royal emperor.
