I can't help but sigh remembering those embarrassing and irrational moments. The horrible things I did to Youjin.
Again, another sigh.
Youjin chuckled beside me. "Ganun ka kadisappointed, Keita? Dalawang beses ka napabuntong hininga."
"Ah. Hindi. May naalala lang ako..." I took a long chug on my beer.
"Ah. Speaking of naalala, Eisuke." Youjin said, instantly turning to look at Eisuke who's sitting on his other side. "Nakasalubong ko si Reiji-senpai* kahapon."
Eisuke almost spits his drink. "A-Anong sabi niya sayo?"
Napansin kong lahat kami (Ako, Misao, Toshiro and Fumihiro) ay nakatingin na kay Eisuke at lahat kami nagtataka sa naging reaksyon ni Eisuke.
"Hmm... Small talk lang. Kamustahan tapos hinanap ka niya sa akin." He pauses and then something clicked in his head. "Bakit alam niyang magkaklase pa din tayo?"
"Ah. Mahabang kwento, Youjin. Ikukwento ko sayo next time." Eisuke discreetly peeked at me over Youjin's shoulder. "Kapag nakita mo sya ulit wag mo nang pansinin yung taong yon. Okay?"
"Ohhh? Sino tong senpai na 'to?" Sabat ni Toshiro.
Yes. He's halfway drunk already. Pero salamat Toshiro dahil gusto ko din malaman.
"Senpai namin ni Eisuke nung Highschool. 3rd year sya nung dumating kami sa school. He was a nice and popular senpai. Friendly siya sa lahat kahit sa aming first years."
"Annoying senpai kamo." Eisuke rolled his eyes before taking a sip on his beer. "Araw araw niyang ginugulo si Youjin non. Wala akong ginawa buong araw kundi itaboy ang senpai na yon."
"Eisuke..." Youjin giggled. "Mabait naman si Reiji-senpai ah?"
'So doon nagsimula ang pagiging bodyguard ni Eisuke kay Youjin...' It seems as though lahat kaming apat yan ang nasa isip.
"Ah... naalala ko last time sabi mo Eisuke na mabilis mafall si Youjin kaya iniiwasan niyang mapalapit sa iba... Don't tell us... May history sila nung Reiji-senpai?" Si Misao.
"What? Totoo ba yon, Youjin?" I spat out.
"Hindi. Walang ganun." Youjin waved his hands in denial.
"Totoo Eisuke?!"
"Yeah. Hindi na in love si Youjin kay Reiji-senpai nung highschool." Eisuke dully assured, and then he gulped down the remaining beer in his cup.
I lit open a new stick of cigarette. I was sucking in the smoke when Eisuke continued...
"Sa akin in love si Youjin nung highschool."
I choked on the smoke in my mouth. "Ano?!" I coughed.
Youjin is trying to soothe me by rubbing my back, Eisuke is grinning at me like he beat me to something and everyone is surprised just as I am.
