Luz's POV
I looked at my reflection as a fixed my hair in the bathroom. I can do this, I can do this! Even I can't hype myself well. Willow was supposed to be here and help me stay calm, but something with Gus came up and he needed help. Ahhh I'm having bi panic.
I walked out of the restroom and was on my way to my locker. "This is romance Luz!" I said quietly to myself, not wanting anyone to hear. "You can do this! She's cute, funny, sweet, and so much more. Imagine all the cool things you can do together as a couple. Go out for boba, go to the roller skating rink, go to the movies...wait...do they have ANY of those things in the Boiling Isles? Whatever, I can take her to Earth for that." I got to my locker and grabbed my things.
As I was walking to...I don't know where exactly, I accidentally bumped into someone, causing for us to fall. I shut my eyes as we fell. As soon as I hit the ground, I opened them, and blushed. It was Amity, but that wasn't why I was blushing. She was on top of me. Our current position made us frozen and blush. She got up fast and lend me a hand. "Sorry Luz, I- th-that was an accident."
"No it's ok! It was completely my fault. I wasn't watching where I was going."
"So, where you going nerd?" she asked with a smirk on her face.
"Actually, I don't know, but now that you're here, there's something I need to t-tell you."
She looked at me with curious eyes. I was in full blown bi panic. HOW CAN SOMEONE BE THIS CUTE?!
"Um...so... 🥺👉🏼👈🏼 I know this sounds SUPER cheesy, but Amity, I honestly have the BIGGEST crush on you, a-and I don't even know if you like girls though. You're just so cute and kind, and you like the Good Witch Azura books, and I can stare into your beautiful eyes forever." I looked at her and her eyes went wide, but then faded into a smile.
"Oh Luz," she said and hugged me tightly. "I really like you as well." She grabbed my hand, and squeezed it tightly. "You're so babey Luz, I hope you know that."
I laughed. I was about to say something, until I felt a pair of lips on mine. SHE WAS KISSING ME!! I immediately kissed back, wrapping my arms around her neck as she wrapped hers around my waist. The kiss lasted about for a minute and sadly our lips separated. We just stared at each other, and laughed.
"Come on," Amity said as she grabbed my hand. "Let's head time class."
