"Are you sure Emily? We don't really know anything about it." I tell he'd as I look at the papers the scientist handed me.
"Oh come on, mom. Its perfectly safe, and I think it will be cool. I want to know what I really am looking for in like. My fears. My dreams. Wouldn't you?"
"No, I don't need to know, because I have everything I could ever ask for with the family I have and a roof over our heads." I say and cross my arms over my chest.
"Don't cross your arms." Emily groans. "Please, nothing is going to go wrong. They have done this plenty of times to know what they are doing." I look into her pleading eyes and break down.
"Okay, alright, do whatever you want."
"Really?! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She screams and hugs me.
"Just remember you won't be Doug anything else for as long as your eleven."
"Okay."I still can't believe I let her do that stupid thing. She is starting to remember her real like and not her fantasy one. I watch and she runs through the park, chasing after the kite that Tobias was flying. She twirls as she runs. When she is running back, she bumps into a little boy, and they both fall down from the rough impact. I gasp and run over to them.
"Oh my goodness! Are you guys okay?" Emily gets up rubbing her head, but the boy just sits up and shakes his head and blinking his eyes. I bend down to him. "Are you alright, little boy?"
"Uh, I think so." He stands up and looks at Emily.
"I'm so sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going." Emily says to him.
"Its alright!" He says cheerful. "I wasn't either so it was partly my fault too." Emily giggles and blushes as she looks down at the ground. "I'm Ashton Daniels. What's your name?" He asks.
"Emily."
"That's it? Just Emily?" Emily shakes her head. "Then what?" She giggles at his comment.
"Emily Grace Eaton."
"Emily Grace Eaton... Its...." He sighs slightly, but Emily doesn't notice. I step back a little.
