Chapter 20

Mason P.O.V.

I feel so stupid. Why did I say that. Just friends. Seriously Mason?!

I bang my head onto the steering wheel and sit for a moment. My heart is still pounding from just walking in and kissing her like that.

I finally gather my wits and drive the short distance to my house. When I get out, I see Lexi from the window, talking on the phone with her hair into some sort of braid. I bite my lip and shake my head. Just friends. Stupid idiot.

While shaking my head I unlock the front door and step inside.

"Oooooooh Mason. You bad boy you."

I look up and see Arielle hands folded and a giant smirk on her face.

"What are you talking about." I say while taking my shoes off.

"You think your slick. I saw you kiss Lexi... You totally like her admit it!" Shit. She knows. No one can know! I don't want anyone babbling off at school about me and her...

I like Lexi... however I don't want her to ruin my reputation. Shes not the most... popular girl. I've built myself up on this foundation and I don't want her to ruin. Yet, I miss her. Im known for sleeping around, not settling down.

Me and Sally have already established our relationship. It's not a serious relationship and both of us know that, but sometimes she doesn't seem to understand that, lets say I'm flirting with some girl at a party. If Sally sees me she'll pry me off of my bang girl of the night or follow me all night.

She's like a whiny brat.

"No I didn't! What are you talking about?" I try to move pass her, but she grabs my shoulder, pulling me back.

"Mas please. I saw you, matter of fact, I was able to see you through her front door window!" I drop my head into my hand. I rub my face and turn around to face her.

"Listen, you can't tell anyone about this. I swear Ari if you tell anyone I'll get one of the mean girls at school to beat your ass."

She rolls her eyes. "Listen bully with a heart, I wasn't gonna tell anyone. But just know that I know your secret, even before you kissed her I did notice that you had a thing for Lexi. So let's just say... you 'owe' me" She smirked and turned around, walking away.

I shot out the breath I was holding.

"Fucking hell. Now she's probably going to make me her slave." I say to myself. I walk upstairs and close my bedroom door behind me.

I take my shirt off and cut the lights, getting ready for bed. I walk by my bedroom window and take a quick glance.

I turn back when I notice Lexi's bedroom window open.

It won't hurt to watch her. There's another car in the drive way. A blue Jeep. Who's car is that? It looks familiar.

I take a closer look into her bedroom window, leaning into my window. She walks past the window and sits on a bean bag.

Somebody else who looks to be a guy walks by and sits on the floor also. Is that... Ashton Woods?

Oh fucking shit.

What's he doing there?!

How does she possibly know him?!

Aston Woods is the second most known Player.

After me of course. However he's ruthless. He gets with girls and their pants easily. After he's done with them he dumps them and cuts them off like a wire, at least I don't. His prey is girls that are quite and good, basically girls who look like virgins. Most of them are.

Like Lexi...

That son of a bitch. I've hated him since fourth grade. Every girl I've ever liked or had a crush on he always competed with me for the girl.

He always got the girl because I've always been with Lexi.

Now that she's back, he probably wants her because I want her. Fucktard.

He smirks at her and she smiles her beautiful smile. He begins to lean in. Oh shit.

Lexi please. Please baby please lean out!

She doesn't move at all. What the actual fuck. What is she doing?!

His kisses her and my heart stops.

The only thing that's going on in my mind is chanting.

'DONT KISS HIM BACK!'

And she does.

Lexi P.O.V.

His lips taste good. But not as divine as Mason's. Butterflies are bumping and knocking my tummy. His tongue slips into my mouth, it's bursting with a sweet gummy bear flavor.

I don't know why but I get a strange feeling of someone watching me. I ignore the feeling and let the moment take over.

Ashton gentility pushes us back and has me laying on my back while he's on top of me.

The feeling of this is so unreal. I've never gotten this close with anyone. Not even Mason.

His lips leave mine and kisses down my neck.

I'm so into the moment, I feel every kiss that he places. Again, that feeling of wrong comes into my mind. I feel as if this isn't right.

He gets lower and starts kissing my navel. I gasp and try to stifle my oncoming moan.

"Lexi!! Come here!" I jump and Ashton quickly gets off me. Shit. Why mom, out of all moments. I giggle at Ash's tomato colored face.

I get up and walk to the door.

"I'm coming mom!!" I yell loud enough for her to hear.

"Well, I think it may be time for you to go..." I turn to look at Ashton's lush hair falling into his face.

"Uh Yeah, your right I have to be home before 9." Ge gets up and packs his belongings. I cross my arms waiting patiently.

"Well uh, this night was, awesome." He says, walking up to me. "It was" I whispered.

"Well I hope to do this very soon again." He leans down and places a soft warm kiss on my lips, than on the top of my head.

"Me to." I smiled, a real smile.

He turns to leave my room but before he does he turns around. "I really like you Lexi. Your something different." He smiles than leaves my door open.

I walk out after him, walking with him down stairs.

When he reaches his car, I'm on my front porch looking at him questionably.

"What do you mean by that Woods?"

After he got in the car and rolled his window down, he smirks at me.

"Your not like the other girls I've dated. Good night Beautiful." He winks and rolls his window up while pulling out of my drive way.

I'm a bit stunned. He's dated girls?

Meaning.. Multiple?!

Oh who am I kidding he's basically a God! No wonder! But why is he so into me?

I had such a boring life back in old Atlanta. Why when I move back home where I was planning to go unnoticed does my plan unfolds.

I walk back into my house while locking and closing the door.

I look down to see Jade sitting with the leash in his mouth.

"Oh that's right Alexandrea, walk Jade for me."
She says, peeping from the living room and disappearing once again.

I look down at the innocent dog and frown.

I blame Jade for all my troubles because... I have no one else to blame.

I roll my eyes at my stupidity and grab Jade while slipping on some flip flops.

Really Lexi. You can't blame the dog for your problems.
