Chapter five
Mason POV
Dear God, can the most attractive girl on earth get even more attractive? Is that even possible?
I walk back to my house with Lexi trailing behind me. I fight the urge to stop and kiss her right then and there. Stop being such a girl Mason! This is only one girl! She means nothing to you! She ruined your whole life; you've been with probably half of the population at Brooke wood high! You have girls falling to your feet every time you walk by, you even manage to get the most popular girl, Sally High to be at your beck and call, stop stressing over one girl dude!
My mind's right. This is only one girl, a very special girl, the most beautiful wonder-
Here we go again.
We walk up the steps leading into the foyer, I shout hello to my parents and begin to head upstairs.
"Where are you going?" Lexi says in a sassy tone while crossing her arms. God I've missed her so much.
"Why if I leave will you miss me to much?" I smirk.
"That's funny because I wouldn't ever want to be around a jerk like you." Ouch.
"Well great because I don't want to be around a bitch like you." I almost struggled to say these words but it got out either way. I couldn't bear to see the hurt in her expression; I turned my back to her and walk to my room.
I stripped my clothes and climbed into the shower.
It wasn't that I didn't want to be around her, no. I wanted to be around her more than anything, I want to hold her in my arms and kiss her lips till they get swollen red. I wanted her to be mine.
I step out of the shower, wetting up the floor. I dry off and walk back to room grabbing some clean clothes off the bed where my mom washed, dried and folded my clothes up.
Mason stop! Your getting distracted this girl took away time that deserved to be spent with your sister!
Right.
She promised me that May would make it. She lied. I know it would be hypocritical to hold that against her, no one could tell the future and say that May was going to make it or not. That still doesn't mean I'm not mad about it.
That's it. I can't be held up with Alexandrea and thinking of her every second. I need a distraction and I know just who.
I grab my Iphone and tap on a contact. After 2 rings someone answers the phone.
"Heyyyy Baby!" Sally's pitched voice says into the phone.
I try not to cringe at the sound, I just turn the volume down in the phone a little bit.
"Hey babe I want you to come over, my parents are having dinner with some family and I'm bored.
"Okay! I was just about to call you and ask! Do you wanna do you know what tonight?" She purred in what was meant to be a flirty voice but came out as a deranged squeak. This time I cringed. Maybe I should have called a different girl without an annoying voice.
"Ya sure whatever." I said sounding truly uninterested.
"Okay baby I'll be there in five!" She squealed into the phone hanging up. I pulled my ear away from the phone.
I lay down, hands crossed behind my head. About five minutes later my doorbell rings. I jog downstairs to the door, as I turn the corner I bump into something, or should I say someone.
"Ouch! Watch where you're going you idiot!" The person yells. I look down to see Lexi sitting on the floor rubbing her temple. I wanted to say sorry and carry her up stairs to my room and nurse her. Which probably would have happen if the doorbell didn't ring again.
