Skaters' bond

Finally time for lunch, it was such a boring day at class. It's only Wednesday it felt like the longest week ever. You wouldn't have minded it because you got to spend it with Ryujin but the school part took ages. Your stomach was rumbling so bad you were dying of hunger. But now you could finally eat and you were so excited about to sprint out the classroom until your teacher stopped you.

"Y/N." Your history teacher called.

"Uh yes?" You backed up to where he was calling you.

"You haven't made up your test from last week yet. I need the grade today so you have to take it today."

You totally forgot about this test. You were pulled out of class last week for a doctor's appointment and missed the test day.

"You can come by after school to take it, it's not the longest test so it shouldn't take a very long time."

"Ahhh okay I'll come by after school."

You go down to lunch after stopping at your locker. You got your history book and notes to study at lunch for the test you have to make up. You sit next to Yeonjun but have no time to talk because you can't afford to fail this test.

"If you want I can tell you what's on the test." Yeonjun says as he sips his drink.

"Nah I don't wanna do any type of cheating. At least his' tests are easier than other classes so just studying at lunch will hopefully be enough."

But even so the test wasn't your biggest concern. Ryujin has been riding with you home and now how are you two going to work. She can't wait around for you to finish your test. But if she lives farther away it's pointless to get a ride home and then back to your house. Not to mention her brother's won't be home to give her a ride to your house.
After several minutes of contemplation it comes to you. You know what you are gonna do.

After lunch you go to your classes as usual and feel pretty good about your test. Once the final bell rings you head to your locker and then to find Ryujin.

"You ready to test this bad boy?"

"Huh?" You say as you turn around to find Ryujin.

"Our volcano."

"Oh"

"It's just a saying silly." She smiled and nudges you.

"Well um about that, a little change of plans for today. I have a history test to take so I can't give you a ride."

"Then how are we going to do the project?"

"Well the test shouldn't take that long but instead of waiting for me you can go with my sister on the bus which will drop you off near my house. She doesn't have practice today so she's taking the bus home and I texted her earlier and she's fine with you coming along."

"Well I mean I guess that's fine it just cuts our time in half. Where is she, I don't know where the bus is and don't wanna miss it."

"I'll walk you to it real quick before I get in trouble for being late to my test."

She nods and we walk to the doors of the parking lot. The bus is already there and some kids are already on it. Yuna stands waiting and on her phone.

"Hey Yuna!"

"Y/N! What the heck took you so long! Oh Ryujinie hi!"

"Um hi, you are Yuna correct?"

"Yup! Here you can sit with me today. I usually sit with my friend May but you can sit by me so you aren't lonely."
