JOSH POV
I walk up to her bedroom door hesitantly. By the angel I'm nervous! I lift my hand to knock but it doesn't. It just floats there an inch from the door. Then, I knock.
"
GO AWAY!" She says. It's loud but it sounds muffled....and sad.

"I love you." I say. I stare intently at the door as if trying to will her to open it. There is no answer. I wait. No answer.

Wait...nothing.

Wait...I hear the lock click! Then the knob turns, and soon-all too soon- I see a tear stained Cat. My Cat. I made those tears. She's so beautiful even when she's crying she's beautiful. Should I start with that?

"I love you. Really. I love you. I love you so much and I never want you to leave." I say.

"Babe? You know I know when you're lying. BABE?!" She says angrily but a tad timidly.

The corner of my lip twitches up involuntarily. She's angry but has tears strolling down her cheeks. It's beautiful almost. "I know. I'm sorry. There were just some things that's had to think about." She looks down at the flooring sadly. "I wasn't Lying. We are fine. We are perfect. I had to think about you but not a bad thing necessarily. I love you. By the angel I love you so much. Do you know how much I love you Cat? I love you a lot. I love you so much."

"You've said that already. That you love me, I mean. You've said that several times. And I believe you Josh. But you need to tell me right now; what is wrong?"

"I found some of my family."

"That's amazing!" She says jumping into my arms. I catch her but I'm caught off guard. "What's wrong with that?"

"They want me to visit and they live in Idris."

She retreats back into her doorway. "Idris"she says solemnly "that's a world away"

"I know. But it's my family, Cat. "

"I want you to go but...I won't see you. How long?"

"One month."

Her head pops up abruptly and her eyes widen. "A month?! Josh!"

"I know. I'm sorry. I was going to tell you. I really was."

"Could I come with you?!"

"Cat...it's...you...I mean..." What do I say? I don't really want her there I mean it is my first visit with my family who I never knew about. But she's so excited and I love her and I want her to be happy. If I say yes, then she steals time from my family but if she stays then she'll be sad. "Yes, if your dad says it's okay."

She bounces up and down. " thank you! I love you!"
