Meeting the family

When we got to the institute I put a glamour up to make it look like a really fancy house because anything less I would have to explain why there were so many rooms. "Woah." He says

"Yeah. I know. It's pretty cool."

We walk through the door and as expected Church is there. "Hiya Church! Where's mom and dad?"he gets up and stretches then proceeds by walking to the training room. I very carefully open the door. "Hi." I say. "I brought a friend over." Everyone gaps at me.

"You should have told someone." My dad says.

"Do you know how unsafe that is?!" My sister says

"Guys calm down." I say "Come meet him."

"HIM?!" My dad asks.

"Yes?" I say shyly "but just ugh come on."

"Mom, dad, melody, aunt Isabelle,uncle simon,uncle Alec,Jason, Michael this is Josh. Josh that is everyone in my family and of coarse you know Jared."

"Hi." He says weakly.

There is a certain look in my dad's eyes. It is the look of hatred and knowing. Almost as if Josh was one of my dad's long ago enemies."Cat,"my dad says "I want you to go to your room. Melody,you too. Clary, go with them. Isabelle, go to Magnus' place, tell him an old friend is back. We need help. Jared,Alec,Simon,Jason,Michael, you stay here."

"Jace, I understand-"

"Clary, trust me."

"All I was going to say was that Jason and Michael are too young."

"Fine take them with you and the girls."

While all of this was happening Josh started getting white. Really white. Like, think of the palest vampire you've ever seen now multiply that by 10.

"Let's go you guys." My mom say.

"I'm not going. No way." I say

"Cat. GO!!!!" My dad says.
