The ring

R:damn U take long shower
A: not that long
R: U were in there for 35 minutes Andy
A: sorry , I always take long shower
R: I know I know U have hair and I don't, it comes with the age
A: stop it you're not that old
R : i know
She got dressed in her pyjamas and kissed Robert and then went on her side of the bed and she saw te box that contains the ring
A: why is the box on my side ? U don't want it
R: of course I want it andy why wouldn't I ? I just I figured that since normally it's the other person puting the ring on the finger I wanted to ask U to do it
A: are U serious ? U want me to put the ring on your finger like we do at the ceremony what we didn't do ?
R: I do and if I get U one I'll do the same thing okay ?
A: of course babe
She opened the boxe looked at Robert she couldn't believe that in seconds he was gonna wear the ring she bought him , she took it of the box and carefully placed it on his finger , they both kissed for a while , Robert couldn't keep his eyes out of it , it was so gorgeous, he was planing on going to by her one soon but he didn't know when cause Andy always goes with him when he goes out expect for his chief meeting or he's going to the bar , his better option was him going with Ripley but only Ripley before Victoria pops and give birth to their kid . Is better time was after their 24 hours shift not tomorrow but the day after , cause Andy had a night out with maya for mayas birthday witch is tomorrow

Andy woke up at 3:32 and went downstairs to get her a cup of water before heading back to bed . As she leaned against the counter she saw a letter on the other counter and got closer to see what it was and it's sais "Andy" on it so she opened it

"Dear Andy , I just wanted to say that I left yesterday i came home after to her little party and I wrote this letter while U and Robert where in your room I'm sorry I left without saying goodbye but I know myself if I had stayed longer I would've never left your house is so cozy you're family at the station is Perfect U have an amazing husband , I know U too are happy together I can see it I can see that U too it's for ever even when I hear U both scream at each other for I don't know why U still manage to be happy with each other and that's what I like to see , thanks you so much for letting me stay here with U and being there for me I know that my mom visit wasn't that nice but Eliot talked to me about it and he enjoyed it he also wants to tell U to continue to chase your dream because If even U don't follow the rules like family should U still have a perfect life and that all that matters , I called my mom when I left to tell her I was coming back home from the deployment cause I got hurt she's not gonna know I was here so don't worry about it you're not gonna be in trouble I really hope he liked the ring U bought him , I love U so much Andy

After she read his letter tears started to fall down her cheeks , she decided to send him a letter back she knew he didn't live with her mother anymore so it was perfect . It was 3:55 and she started to write it .
"Dear Matthew , thank U so much , I wish I could've kiss you goodbye or hug U good bye but I don't blame U cause I wish I could stay in that house all day long for ever too , I'm really happy that U liked it here you're always welcome her Robert likes U a lot and I'm sure U like the room too don't hesitate to text me or come here un announced I'm always gonna be there for U and U know that , he loved the ring and he's planning on buying me one I think , your mom visit we're never the best but look I'm happy about what we talked , and there's some things I wasn't expecting but U know we always got news , but normally I'm the one telling them not receiving them , continue to chase your dreams too , U deserve it you're a great person Matt you've never changed your always gonna be my favourite cousin and the station is gonna miss U take care of your leg please be careful and call me when U get this letter okay I love U too

She went back to bed with her husband who got up an hours after finding both letters on he counter and decided to read them , he had a big smile over what she wrote and what he wrote , he made himself some coffee and went to there training gym and boxed a little bit then did other training . Andy got up not long after and joined him it was kinda of a routine to both of them to train before work it was now 6:15 am when they finished training , they both showered dressed into there uniform Andy with her coat and Robert with his vest , they sat down in the sofa and watch the news until it was 7:15 and decide to leave for the station cause shift was starting at 8 . They got to the station then both went different ways . Not long after shift was starting
- morning herrera , Kat said

-So captain what are U planning in letting us do today ? Vic asked
-I don't know the chief told me three days ago that for today I couldn't give U any task , maya said
-for real so what do we do we sit here and wait for the time to pass? Andy said
- I don't know he's probably gonna tell us when is gonna come here , maya said
- morning chief dean said as he saw the chief enter the beanery
He got like 15 questions about what they were gonna do and he couldn't answered any of them cause people wouldn't let him talk
- ENOUGH , he yelled with his chief voice
Everyone stopped talking the second he finished the word and everyone looked at him a little bit scared Andy just enjoyed the show
- team , I'm not going to tell U what you're gonna do yet I can't it's out of my control I have to wait for the fire chief . Just do like U do normally when there's no call .
- yessir , they all said
They all ate breakfast together they were all still at the table when Sullivan phone chimes . He took a look at it he put his back in his pocket and it chimes again , Andy looked at him confused . He left the table and he went downstairs.
- chief your here early , Sullivan said
- stop the chief sully , is Vic working right now ?
- she is why?
- cause she's not suppose to be she's 7 month and a half pregnant it could be very dangerous for her and with today I don't want her to get hurt
- I'll go get her Luke don't worry stay here
- okay but sully you're gonna need to explain what we do alone I'm gonna get her at her house and I'll stay with her a bit before I come back okay?

He went straight to the beanery as he past by the gym where Andy was doing push up .
- Hughes ! Come here a sec

- you're husband is waiting for U downstairs go change you're going home I don't want to see U until that baby is born or if U come visit us okay ?

- no there's no but , it's dangerous for U and with what's going on today I can't risk it okay , go take care of that baby at home and why don't U come to my place tonight ?
- yess sir but can I wait till line up I want to know what you're gonna do ?
- yes sure but put on your formal clothes and then you go home with you're husband. After 30 minutes everyone was doing there's things Robert in his office
-19 LINE UP ON THE BARN , Sullivan yelled everyone was confused. Andy just got out of the shower so she did as fast as she could to out on her uniform she finished tucking it into her pants when Sullivan appeared behind the fire truc . ( nobody saw the ring yet )

S: 19 , today is gonna be hard , your emotions and your capabilities are going to be out at risk . We're doing something extreme today and I can promise U it's going to be hard even if after I tell U what's the plan for today you tell yourself that's not bad you're gonna get crushed , me and you're fire chief lived that experience once and we had a rough time . Today I'm not you're battalion chief today I'm a member of this crew , battalion chief Dixon is coming over with his team and we are gonna compete against each other

S : that mean that when he comes here with clear the barn cause the fire house is closed for the day and battalion chief Dixon is gonna choose a member of his team and I chose one of our team and they compete against each other and there one person who wins and the other is eliminated if U both get the challenge nobody is eliminated that's really gonna hurt U physically it's gonna be though
J: so we're competing against station 43 for fun
Ripley: it's not for fun guy it's really going to help U and you'll see why after .
S: also ( he said while lifting his left hand and Travis and Vic saw the ring) today Hughes is leaving us cause she has to go home and rest

V: U were right maya it's Wow ( she said wow a little bit to loud )
S: Hughes it's not because you're leaving after this line up that U can talk

Andy just laughed a little bit .
When Sullivan finished is line up he got back to his office Andy Vic and Travis went to the reception where Ripley was waiting for Vic
- man Andy that ring wow it's gorgeous, Vic said

- So he decided to wear it finally , Luke and maya asked
- yeah well we talked about it yesterday and I told him it was okay if he was wearing is even if I didn't had one
- good , because I mean everyone would want to wear that , but u didn't see it closely

And they rushed to Sullivan's office
- guys come on it's just a ring ! Andy yelled
Knock knock
- come in Sullivan said
They all got in his office and he looked at Andy confused

- okay so U guys rush into his office to ask him one question but when you're here U don't know what to say , Andy said
- exactly it's just at the moment we were ready but now it's just we stand in front of our battalion chief and it's weird
- god your impossible guys , Robert they want to see the ring that's it , they're all here for that
- oh okay , he said taking it off and handing it to Andy
She showed It to the team and then gave it back to him
- dismiss people , Herrera can I speak with U please , Sullivan asked
- yes sir , she closed the door

- well U were talking U raised your hand and they saw it and they talked about it when U asked Vic to stop talking it was because of that and then they all wanted to see it closely.
- oh okay and who do U feel about today ?
- I don't know I don't really love to train or whatever but I'll try my best but when you said U were a member of this crew what does t means
- well since Vic is leaving I'm taking her place
