chapter three: housekeeping

THEY IMMEDIATELY WENT TO THE COAST GUARD AS THEY TOUCHED LAND HOPING TO GET A FINDERS FEE, but the place was packed. People crowded the office making it impossible for them to even talk to someone

"Well, that went well." Pope sarcastically stated as they got out of the building

"Sooo, what's the plan?" JJ asked

"I say we go to the motel, what's the worst that can happen?" Blake said

"No, no, no, no, no, we don't know whose room that is, okay, it could belong to anyone" Pope stopped her raising his hands anxiously

"I'm in" JJ threw his arm around Blake

"Of course you are" Pope sighed frustrated "Everytime there's a bad idea it's you two-

"Come on, I'll be lookout" Kie got the keys from John b and started walking back towards their boat

And as always, the group followed JJ and Blake's bad ideas seeking for the adventure of their lives.

The pogues didn't expect much but, of course, the actual state of the motel was even worse.

"I thought the Château looked bad" JJ commented  when they arrived at the motel

"This place is a shit show" Pope glared at him, clearly annoyed to be there

"Motel or meth lab?" Kie jokingly asked them making Blake chuckle

"Doesn't look like a place somebody with a Grady-White stays" John B told them

"No, looks like a place someone with a Grady-White would get killed" Pope corrected him

"C'mon Pope, you have to admit this is the most interesting thing to happen in the last year" Blake put a hand on his shoulder "We were missing adrenaline"

"I was pretty content honestly, no need for adrenaline" he looked at her

"All right, here we go. This is you captain speaking HMS Pogues coming' in for landing" JJ said as he was a ship captain as he made sure the boat was securely landed and jumped on the grass in front of them.

"Coming m'lady?" JJ handed Blake a hand

"Oh, I'd never miss this, sir" she joked back taking his hand and getting out of the boat

JJ and Blake now looked at the motel, it was completely destroyed by the storm, it wasn't probably not even safe to walk around.

"All right, here goes nothing" John B also stepped out of the boat after JJ and Blake

"Hey" Kie called out for him before the three of them could go

"Yeah?" He turned to look at her

"Don't let them do anything stupid" she said as the other two looked at each other

"Hey! We-

"Yeah, I know" John B chuckled interrupting Blake

"Uh...be careful" Kie added "I mean it" she kissed his cheek

JJ wasn't known for being subtle so he just nudged Blake with his elbow for quite some time.

"Totally 'mackin" JJ whispered
