Arriving at his house I was messaging on tumblr to my friend “I’m at my crushes house were my otp” in all capitals. Literally I can’t even, like help! I walked on the stone pattern up to the front door. A glass door was to open and then I knocked on their wooden door with the oval window in the top center. The window took up almost half of the door. I was so done. He answered the door and said “hello.”

I had to get the courage to say it back. It felt like I took seconds, minutes, but I smiled and said “hello” back. It was magical, anyway I really think Jax didn’t get the element. He kind of questioned my knowledge on it first, but soon after a little convincing he was fine. I showed him ASAP sciences video on the periodic table of elements song. It’s really catchy and I think it inspired him to start learning on the subject. I kind of over stayed my welcome when his parents asked me to eat dinner with them. They are having meatloaf with corn, broccoli, and brownies for dessert.

I felt really bad when I had to explain to them that I was Pollo-Vegetarian. Now most people including them don’t know what that is, I know stop searching it up. But it is a type of vegetarian that eats chicken, fish, and ducks. I know I may seem like I’m not helping any animals with this but I’m slowly drifting towards a classic vegetarian. I’m down the road from Flexitarian to Pollo-vegetarian, Pescetarian, Lacto-Ovo vegetarian, then I’m finally there. Classic vegetarian.

They didn’t react so well to my vegetarianism. But they saw I was Jax friend so they didn’t prepare dinner and said “You know, let’s just go out for dinner.” I was happily invited to eat out at a nice Italian restaurant. Got some whole wheat angel hair and a side order of minestrone soup. Delicious! Jax wasn’t so finished with his homework so they asked me if I wanted to go back to their house and I was happily accepted. While driving back Jax asked his parents if I may sleep over and they agreed since we go to the same school.

So I agreed and texted my parents. “Hey mom Jax and his parents invited me to stay over can I please sleep over their house.” My mom said it was wonderful since I don’t get outside much.
