The Boy I Admire[ON HOLD AND NEEDS EDITING]

Who's gonna set the kitchen on fire...us apparently

'You can't leave me here!!' I say to Chloe and her boyfriend, Jake. 'I mean with him? Alone? In this house? Not happening!'

'You'll be fine and call if you need help." Chloe says. She's going out on a stupid date with Jake. Now leaving me with Jaden. Heavens knows what he's gonna do.?

'Yea, we'll be fine Jess.' Jaden says and I glare at the both of them.

'Bye, LOVE YOU.!!' She says, walking out before I could object.

If she really loves me like she says she does, she wouldn't leave me with him. Why? 'Cause he has my diary and keeps on blackmailing me.

But he's fun to hang around with. I still can't bring myself to believe he found out I have a crush on him.

"So what type of movies do you watch?" He asks as I settle myself next to him on the couch but not too close.

"Uhm...I prefer romantic movies.' I say and he smiles.

"They're so old fashioned and lame..." he says, bringing himself close to me and his cologne filled the room and my nose.

"Like you." I teasingly mutter, moving away. "Can you bake a cake?" I ask.

"No but I can set the whole kitchen on fire." He says.

'Me too, let's bake a cake!'

'Deal...' he says and I giggle. It was 3:45pm and my parents aren't gonna be back until tomorrow morning with Kayla so we do whatever we want, same goes for Chloe and her boyfriend.

'Hold on, why exactly are we doing this?" He asks.

'Cause it sounds cool and terrific to set the whole kitchen on fire and yea, we gat nothing to do.' I say and he nods.

We grab an apron each then moved to the counter, preparing the ingredients.

'Eggs?' I ask

'Check'

'Flour?'

'Check'

'Sugar?'

'Check'

'Mixer?'

'Check'

'Onions?'

'Onions?' Jaden asks.

'Yea, onions..'

'You sure 'bout this?'

'Nope.'

'Okay' he shrugs. I'm finally baking a cake! It's fun when you have Jaden on your track.

We crack the eggs, obviously leaving some particles behind then the flour, sugar and the other ingredients.

'Let's watch tv.' I suggest

'Not romance.' He says and I roll my eyes. Thank God he doesn't blackmail me about my book.

I grabbed the remote before he could.

" C'mon! " he sighs and I stick my tongue out at him. He chased me all around but I duck him off.

'Now bow before me...since I have the remote.' I tease and he laughs.

' Never gonna happen!' He says and gives in. I sit on the couch. Changing the channels since they were all boring and as I pushed the button, the word 'boring' kept recurring from my mouth.

But Jaden's company was great. I still can't believe we're really getting along like friends.

Friends? We can't be friends.
