Chapter 20

  Now his face was completely busted. I hate seeing him that way. Louis held his collar, pulling him close with his blood shot eyes. So they're really gonna waste their freaking time fighting over me.

How childish...

Why the hell would he kiss me in the first place, I just doesn't sound right.

"Stop fighting!" I beg. Jaden pushes him away then walks out of the room.

I'm so glad he doesn't retaliate. I looked at Louis before storming out of the room after Jaden.

"Jaden!" I call but he doesn't even look back. I quicken my pace then stand in front of him. He rolls his eyes and I sigh.

"Look it's all my fault and I'm sorry for that." I said, putting the blame on myself. It was actually my fault for listening to my friends when they told me to wear such a seductive dress and for also being anyone's date. Jaden stares at me. Looking at what I caused tears my heart the more. But he isn't even talking!  "So you're really gonna ignore me right? Okay fine. Have it your way!" I say. Hoping he'll call me back but he doesn't.

I look for Claire then spot her with a drink, talking to Zion.

I walk there, grab her wrist fastly. "Excuse us." I say to Zion with a fake smile and he smiled back. I wasn't sure if his smile was fake.

"We have to leave." I say and Claire laughed, obviously drunk.

"Leave? C'mon Jess, I'm having the time of my life." She slurs and I roll my eyes.

"You won't live to enjoy the rest if you don't come with me and call your fucked up driver to take us away from here..." I said and she pouted. I look around. "Where's Carol?" I ask.

"In the restroom with Frank." She says and I sigh heavily.

"Whatever, give me your phone." I order, my hand in front of me.

"No..."

"Why?"

"'Cause I don't wanna leave!" She dragged and I laugh sarcastically.
"Just give the phone to me or I'll take it myself." I finish and she rolled her eyes, placing her phone in my hand. I fake a smile at her then I dialled her driver's number to come take us.

I spot Louis coming towards my direction and I hide behind a chair.

"Where's Jess?" Louis asks Claire and I signal her not to tell him. She smiles deviously. Remind me never to leave a drunken snitch with Louis to blow my cover ever again. I bit my lips hoping she wouldn't blow my cover and when I open my eyes, Louis is in front of me.

I roll my eyes then stood up, crossing my arms above my chest.

"Look Jess, I didn't mean to..."

"Could we not talk about that right now? I'm having a headache and I think the driver's here." I say with my index finger cutting him off.

I grab Claire's wrist, interrupting her from talking to Zion again.

"Bye Zion, call me!" Claire says as I move her to the exit. Louis follows me behind.

Gosh, what the hell is his problem?

"Driver?" He asks and I stop to look at him.

"Yea I figured out she's too drunk to drive so I called her driver..."

"Why? I mean I could take you guys home."

"We don't need a ride from you. I think we're fine on our own." I say harshly. I really don't get why I'm furious.

"Oh." He says, he looked sad I guess.

"I'm sorry." I say then leave with Claire.  I call Claire to ask where she was and she told me Frank had dropped her off at her place. She sounded drunk but I don't really care since Frank's there. I trust him not to take advantage of her.

So I tucked drunk Claire to sleep, packed my things, chatted a bit with her parents and siblings, had dinner then left in Claire's driver's car that her dad let me take home.

I never knew ball dances could be so fun. I mean I danced with my crush and kissed him. I never expected that to be this fun and I've never had a drink before. I closed my eyes, picturing Jaden's face in my sleep even if I was mad at him.

Really mad...at the same time inlove. I'm stupid.

I planned on ignoring the both of them maybe they'd work things out.
