'Did you really have to fight with him?' I roll my eyes as I take care of his wounds. Surprisingly, he doesn't whine like I had expected. We were still at Louis' place but in Jaden's car. I could stay here for eternity as long as it smells like him and inside feels so warm with him in it.

I look up at him and he's staring at me with that look...the one that made me fall for him in the first place.

'Ouch.' He finally feels the pain and I jump. Somehow feeling the same pain.

'I'm so sorry, does it hurt?'

Of course, stupid.

He doesn't respond but just stares at me like it's my soul he's staring at.

'I love you.' He coaxes and my pulse jumps.

How do you reply to this again? Oh right!! I got it.

'I know.' I say

Nooooooo stupid! Say I love you. Say it!!! My subconscious corrects and I roll my eyes.

Oh right, like in the movies!

'I love you too.' I finally say. He catches me off guard when he hugs me again. As narrow as the car was. When we finally pull away, his eyes pierces through mine and I watch it sparkle.

There's a knock at the window and we simultaneously look through it, seeing my friends excluding Louis, Zion and Frank grinning saucily.

'Uuuoooohhh...' they say at the same time. I roll my eyes and they sit in the car.

'How's he?' I ask.

'He's taken care of.' Carol says.

'He didn't take it so easy but Zion and Frank are still in there.' Claire finishes.

'He's such a jerk.' Jaden sighs, rolling his eyes. He was really pissed.

'But he's still your best friend.' I say...he rolls his eyes again.

'I have to go talk to him.' I say.

'What?' They cough.

'He's my friend and I can't just watch him get hurt.' I say.

'I'll go with you.' Jaden offers.

'No, please don't..I'm fine.' I say and open the door of his car.

Louis is sitting on the couch with a long, busted face and knuckle. Looking really pissed.

Oh no! I just ruined their friendship...

Seriously Jessamie, are you just realising that?

When he looks at me, a 'please don't break up with me b'coz of this.' Look etches on his 'ludicrously odd but still handsome'' face.

He runs into me and hugs me before I could say a thing.

'Excuse us.' I mouth to Zion and Frank. They nod before leaving.

Jaden's POV

'If he does anything to her I swear I'll...' I sigh.

'Shut up dude. First of all, Louis is not a psycho like you think he is, he's your best friend for God's sake.' Frank says and Caroline leans into his chest. He runs his hand through her hair before continuing. 'And Jessamie's not a child...she's fine, okay?'

I sigh and rest my head on the window of my car.

Jessamie's POV

He opens his mouth to probably apologise but I silence him with my finger in the air.

'It's okay. I'm not angry.' I coax

'You're not?'

'Nope. Just curious.' I say. He rubs the back of his neck and I suspect nervousness. When he says nothing, I decide to break the silence.

'Why would you tell him to stay away from me?' I ask.

'Because...' he trails off. 'I like you.'

Yea, right.

Wait what?!?!?!!!

I knew it. Of course, Jaden was right.

I refuse to believe it anyways.

'You're kidding...' I laugh.

'No Jess, I'm serious. I love you.' He says.

'It's not possible I mean we're friends right?'

'Yes but can't a friend also have feelings?' A cute smile plays across his lips. Replacing his former expression.

•Hahahahaha...you can't vanquish me!! The smile triumphs over the Frown.

•Whatever...

'Is Jess still there?' He snaps his fingers and I shake out of my thoughts.

'Of course she is.'

'Do you want some wine?' There's a smirk playing on his face.

'Yes.' I say without thinking. He disappears into the kitchen

Jaden's POV

A hour passed and Jess is still with him...I'm getting worried. I can't trust him.

'Don't you think we should check on her? I mean it's late.' I say to my friends.

'You're being too overprotective. What's the worse he could do?'

Apparently, force himself on her?

Nahh...yeah...!!!

Jessamie's POV

I drop my empty glass after my fourth, my head starts spinning and I'm not myself again. I feel tipsy.

'Are you okay?'

'Yea...I have a question.' I giggle. 'Do you always have an extra head?...it looks ridiculous on you. Don't put it on, for my sake.' I laugh and he joins. He moves close and the tip of his index finger runs along my jawline.

'What are you...' I'm about to ask until he crashes his lips on mine.

This is so weeeeeiiiiiirrrrdddd.

I push him away drunkenly then look at Jaden. He balls his fists and I'm pretty sure he's gonna kill Louis this time.

No doubt.

He proves me right by holding Louis' collar. I'm too "not myself" to interrupt so I lay back and watch the drama with my legs crossed. A free wrestling match!

'Yes, kill him!!!' I cheer for Jaden as he continues to do whatever he's doing to make Louis choke.

I pour me some more wine...

'What the hell dude!!! You intoxicated her?!' Jaden screams.
'On purpose?'

Louis wouldn't do that? Would he?

'Wait, don't tell me you actually drugged her?'

I lift the glass up to my lips to take a sip but something stops me. I look at Jaden's arm. Preventing me from taking it any further.

I start whining for my drink but he doesn't give me.

'Let's go Jess.' He scoops me off of the couch.
