{Amelia's POV}

The meeting with Agnes went smoothly, it turns out she just needed more herbs as the number of injured people being brought down here was increasing. She was right though, we had too many injured people being rescued and it had been quite a while since We heard from the palace spies.The entrance ways were flooding with rescuers bringing down injured or half dead people, it is alarming really, the rescuers had never rescued this much, something was wrong. The Nimarian slave masters up there usually had tight supervision and we barely managed to save up to 10 people, but now rescuers were coming down with twenty plus people.

The sudden change in rescuing activity alarmed me so I had to discuss it with the community leaders. I called a meeting with the twins and heads of all the rescuer groups. This was not good, the safe house's location could be in jeopardy and that wouldn't mean well for my people.

The meeting was to be held in one of the guard tents. Bran and Lucas, one of the group heads, were already there, along with Sophia, Gretchen and Oliver. We were expecting six more group heads and Bron now. I couldn't help but worry about the sudden change in activity and I contemplated what we were going to do in my head. Bran obviously sensed my worry as he placed a hand on my shoulder and gave me a slight nod saying it was going to be alright.
After a little while Bron and the remaining six group heads arrived and all took their places around the stone table. Bron was sitting to my left and Bran to my right. Madeline was right beside Bron while Lucas was beside Bran. Jackson, Gabriel, Gretchen and Jacob were on Bran's side while Oliver, Sophia, Emery and Blake were on Bron's side.

The meeting started with Bran welcoming everyone and informing them about how serious the matter was. Worried expressions were already plastered on their faces, this was already heading to a bad start.
"Thank you all for coming at such short notice, I called this meeting because the rescue rates have recently gone up which is very unusual because we could hardly rescue a handful of people before. Now I find this very odd because the Nimarians have tight security around their slave grounds making it very hard to get past them. Group heads please have you noticed any unusual activity happening at the slave camps when you are there". For a second they all looked at me thinking of their recent activities before one of them finally spoke.
" Actually yes we have Amelia" Emery, a blonde haired group head spoke, " usually at the time we normally arrive at the slave camps, there are guards with whips there, but for the past few days they have not been present , In fact there are only a few guards out with the slaves."
"Well maybe their routines changed and they are paying less attention to the slaves" Bron said, putting his hands on the table.
"No, I don't think it did" another voice interjected, it was Jackson, "if they did change their routine they will still keep a considerable amount of guards there, but just like Emery's group, my group hasn't encountered a reasonable amount of guards there for some time either".
Now I was really worried, it's confirmed,something was definitely wrong.
"Do you think they are onto us ?" Bran asked and I shrugged my shoulders not knowing what to say.
"I think they are" Gretchen spoke up, crossing her arms, "now that I think about it, the number of guards my group usually encountered has reduced.
"They could be monitoring us" Oliver said raising alarm and a few gasps broke out as the group heads looked at each other.
"Is this the case with all your groups?" I asked and they all paused for minute before all nodding. "We need to get out of here" I murmured under my breath and all their eyes shot up to me, they all heard me.
"What! But we are not sure" Lucas said, looking alarmed.
"I am aware, but we cannot risk it, even if they have the slightest hint we'd have to start packing. It's too dangerous"
"So what now ?" Sophia asked.
"We migrate".

**NARRATIVE VOICE**

For months the invasion survivors were not known to the Nimarians, but in a matter of a few days, it all might have changed. Their location was now at risk and they did not know whether they had been discovered or not. Amelia and the others were worried, they had even thought of migrating. The groups decided they would observe the Nimarian guards routine for a few days to see if they really had figured them out.
Amelia worried for her people more than anyone else, she had not received any message from the spies for a while now. She feared that another attack was coming, she was not going to witness more of her people die. She immediately began devising a plan, a plan that would save all the survivors...or so she thought.

{Amelia's POV}

I had adjourned the meeting with the group heads for another day. I needed a clear head. If my hunch was correct my people would have to start packing. I suggested we migrated in the meeting but truthfully that was a hasty decision. Where would we go ?, how would we get there ?. Migration would not be easy but if that was the only way my people would be saved, we had to do it.

I retired to my tent after the meeting, it had been a long day. If the situation becomes so dire that migration is the only resolve fit, we had to have a plan. There were three kingdoms we could make it to, they were Flora, Psinay and Passriver.

Psinay was the closest to us but getting in with our people as refugees was extremely risky, they could deny us entrance or imprison us for trespassing. Then there was Passriver, it was the furthest but more convenient, they would aid us but to get there would be putting my people at a great risk. Finally Flora, it was closer than Passriver and they do accept refugees, but that would be the most obvious place for us to go. Nimarian guards will surely be positioned near the borders.

I played all the possible scenarios in my head and put all details into consideration, still I was not certain about my choice of destination. One wrong plan or detail could mean the destruction of the surviving people, I could not take that kind of risk. After hours of map sketching and Nimarian border guards assessing I decided to consult with Bran. He had knowledge of Nasalray MFPCN's geography and that would prove really helpful with this planning. I would go to him in the morning and request his help.

The horns had already been blown signifying it was nighttime. The second group of rescuers were getting prepared to head out and people had already started retiring to their tents. I layed down on the fur pillow and stared upwards into oblivion hoping...praying that all would work out. I had hope one day would come when we would regain our kingdom and slaughter the Nimarians who stripped everything from us, I had hope that our people would taste freedom once again, I had hope that we would slaughter our enemies and get justice for all those killed, I had hope that Molinin would be great again. One day...
