Chapter Fifteen

Kavya and auntie were sitting the plane disappointed they had failed especially Kavya she knew Aman would just see her as Rajveer's sister and a pawn in his revenge plan "Guess we failed auntie" Kavya said looking outside of the plane window into the clouds 

"You know auntie some part of me still thinks Amaya will make it but now I'm losing my mind she never boarded this plane so how would she be here I don't now what to do now" Kavya said sighing still looking through the plane window at the clouds 

"What can you do after all Kavya beta you did try your best right that's pretty much what matters" Auntie rubbed Kavya's hand Kavya didn't say anything but just sat there she even refused the food and drink on the plane 

Once the plane hand landed Kavya didn't want to go back home and face Aman she knew he was still angry. Most people on the plane had got off leaving Kavya, auntie and a few people still on the plane "Come on Kavya beta we have to go now" Kavya nodded and stood up they grabbed their stuff and walked towards the plane exit they were about to exit the plane until a familiar voice stopped them Kavya turned to her left side to see Amaya approaching them 

Kavya was extremely shocked seeing Amaya approaching her. Kavya was trying to figure out when Amaya got on the plane until Amaya came over and pushed Kavya's chin up "Close your mouth Bhabhi" Kavya didn't know where to begin talking 

"Sorry we do need to you to exit the plane now" The air hostess said kindly Kavya nodded and walked out of the plane with auntie and Amaya following behind Kavya was slightly mad at Amaya because she spent the whole plane journey cursing herself for failing 

Once the were out of the airport auntie decided it was a good idea to go straight to her house and not to the Kapoor's resident. Kavya, Amaya and auntie was now sitting on individual sofas looking at each strangely "I don't understand you Amaya I thought you weren't coming" 

"Well after you gave me that massive speech I couldn't resist I waited for you guys for a long time at gate 14 you guys didn't turn up so I decided to go on the plane anyway I had the ticket" Kavya felt even more stupid knowing her sister in law was already in the plane and her and auntie waited like idiots at gate 14 until the very last announcement was made

"Fair enough why didn't you find us on the plane" Amaya sipped her tea and smile "I was going to but honestly I couldn't be bothered" Couldn't be bothered Kavya thought in her mind Kavya did a fake laugh turning it into crying without the tears 

"So you couldn't be bothered okay okay yeah okay couldn't be bothered yeah no Amaya couldn't be bothered" Kavya said slightly raising her voice

"Errm Bhabhi are you okay" Auntie knew exactly what Kavya was feeling before things got bad auntie interrupted the conversation "Amaya beta if you were sane and normal why did you fake being like that in front of Aman and Amar" 

Amaya felt uncomfortable by the question she pressed her lips together and played with her dupatta Kavya noticed Amaya's behaviour upon hearing the question she stayed quiet because she was more desperate to know why Amaya acted that way for four years 

"Auntie it wasn't acting like that but I had to when that bastard did what he did and that women covered my naked body the first thing she said was this girl is ruined who will marry her at first I didn't care I was already broken inside by what that bastard did but in the hospital everyone said the same when Aman and Amar rushed in the hospital I overheard some women saying that I was a burden on them and I always would be because nobody will marry me they said I was the girl that would ruin her brothers lives too" 

Kavya immediately felt guilty she never knew Amaya had gone through more suffering after what Rajveer did to her "You would expect people to be understanding but they wouldn't even if I forgot about that incident the people surrounding me wouldn't let me live peacefully to make it worse when Aditya came to see me he said to Aman bhai he would marry me to me that was his pity towards me I didn't want to live I had become a weak women when I used to be a strong independent women when the court case happened I stood in that court room with all eyes on me people were blaming me instead of him nobody knows this but of that incident I got pregnant and ended up having a miscarriage" 

Amaya started crying harder at this point Kavya and auntie also starting crying hearing everything Amaya told them Kavya felt extremely guilty judging Amaya for lying 

"I couldn't handle it anymore Bhabhi I started punishing myself by acting as a living corpse not letting Aman and Amar visited me I decided by pretending to be like that people will give up on and just me alone what I did was wrong and now looking back I wished I never took that step and waste four years of my life blaming myself when that bastard is to blame" 

"I'm sorry Amaya" Kavya said going over to Amaya and hugging her tightly "Me and auntie are here for you the whole way through this we will be here so how about we bring Rajveer down together" Amaya cried even harder 

Amaya had left the room to be alone for some time Kavya sat on the sofa regretting everything to had thought about Amaya she couldn't believe she went through so much in such a young age. Kavya started thinking of way to bring her brother down to get justice for Amaya she hated that she was Rajveer's sister every positive thing she thought about her brother was shattered from hearing Amaya's story 

Amaya returned to the living room "I'm sorry I shouldn't have told you guys anything" Kavya immediately looked up at Amaya angry "Why are you apologising huh Amaya it's not your fault Rajveer decided to rape you it's not your fault you had a miscarriage and it's not your damn fault the court room was filled with corrupt people so start with stop blaming yourself" Amaya was pale from all the crying and stress she was still very sensitive 

"Please Amaya stop blaming yourself if we are going to bring Rajveer down you need to be strong....I have a plan to bring him down" Before Kavya could share the plan auntie's phone rang auntie lifted her phone to see Aman name across the phone auntie looked at Kavya not knowing what to do "Answer it auntie just act normal don't let him suspect anything" 

Auntie nodded answering the phone and putting Aman on loud speaker "Hello" auntie said 

"Where the hell is she auntie" He sounded angry giving Kavya a chill down the spine Amaya looked at Kavya confused at her behaviour
