Chapter 5: Who is the winner?

Zark's POV

The only rule of the game is to have a 3 dunks. We can use whatever tactics or moves we want. I'm expecting that she won't able to dunk the ball even once. I know I can finish this game in a minute. Alam kong hindi siya makakaporma sa akin. But I wanted to play longer. The reason why I decided to make 3 the winner score is to embarrass her and her boastful ego for being plucky. Obviously, she don't know how to play this kind of game. But unexpectedly, she knows how to win with this game. But I won't let her win.

Let me tell you the story.
Sa jump shot pa lang. I got the ball first then I run to my ring and dunked it so easily. Haha! Napakadali naman. I'm sure this will end quickly.

I gave her the oppurtunity to steal the ball. Coz' i just feel pity for her. She positioned her self in a dangerous way na madaling agawin ang bola. Niluwagan ko ang depensa ko. I know she can't do it. But I didn't expect na mashoshoot niya ang bola sa ganoong puwesto. Good job... Pinagbigyan ko lang naman siya. Pero hindi na ito mauulit.

Nasa akin agad ang bola na walang kahirap hirap. Malayo pa lang ang ring ay ishinoot ko na agad ang bola. It was a 3 point shot in a literal basketball. But my point count as 2 for 2 dunks.

Nasa likod ko lang siya kanina pero bigla na lang niyang nakuha ang bola, pagkatapos ko itong madunk. I don't know where did she got this flash moves. Pero hindi ako ganoon kadali matakasan. Madali akong nakapunta sa harap niya to showed my defense. Tsk! Mahina ang opensa niya. This is so easy for me to get the ball. At dahil matangkad ako, yumuko ako para kunin ang bola. Abot kamay ko na ito ngunit bigla itong naglaho. Ang bilis. And then, I realized that she jumped so high and stand on my back. I loose the track of the ball. Hindi ko na makita kung nasaan ito. Dinig ko ang malakas na pag inog ng ring kasunod ng pagbagsak ng bola sa lupa. Tumalikod ako upang tingnan. Is that a slam dunk? H-how did it happened? I thought she don't know how to play. Then she fell. Dumaing naman siya sa sakit habang pilit na tumayo at hawak hawak ang balakang. Huh! I smirked.Tsamba lang pala yun!

The score is 2:2. We're tie. Isang puntos na lang at malalaman na kung sinong panalo.

At sa pagkakataong ito, hindi ko na hahayaang makapuntos pa uli siya. I heared the crowd screaming my name. Hindi ko, napansing madami na palang taong nanonood. Pero, wala akong pakialam.

I am Zark Hamilton, no
one can defeat me. At walang player na gustuhing makaharap ako. I am not really interested in basketball but this game loves me so much that made us a number one team. Since I started to be an athlete, I never experienced to be defeated. Nakakawalang gana pag walang gustong tumalo syo. Sometimes, naisip ko mag quit na sa paglalaro. But my team and this school need me.

I dribbled the ball. Huh! kahit gaano pa siya kabilis, at kahit malakas man siyang tumalon, hinding hindi niya matatapatan ang opensa ko. I positioned my self to shoot the ball and she tried to get the ball but I faked my moves. I smirked. Kala ba niya ay ganun kadali maaagaw sa akin ang bola. I made some tricks para linlangin siya. I want to tease her a little bit.

Nakakatuwa, itsura niya, seryosong seryoso. Doon ko lang napagmasdan ng maayos itsura niya. She is cute. Her skin is fair without make up. Matangos ang ilong niya. Her lips is moist and reddish without lipstick. And then she suddenly smile, a half smile. Nagulat ako. At mas nagulat ako ng hindi ko na maramdaman ang bola na dinidrible ko.

I looked at her again. She is gone. What the F*ck!? I forgot to protect the ball. Tumalikod ako at nakita kong tinatakbo na niya ang bola. Bat di ko yun napansin? I run after her. Sa inis ko ay inapura kong makuha ang bola. Then I touched the ball to steal it. But suddenly she jumped. Oh? she wants to do a jump shot, huh? I'm sure, tataasan nanaman niya ang talon niya. Pero hindi yan makakalagpas sa akin! Then, I jumped higher para harangan ang bola. But she didn't throw the ball. Agad siyang lumapag sa sahig, tumalon ulit at mabilis na naedunk ito sa ring habang pababa ang katawan ko sa lupa.

Then, i heared the referee.
The score is 3:2. Am I dreaming? I loose the game. I can't believe this. I am defeated by a lady. But it made me smile. I don't know... but it really feels good.

"You won" I smiled and I offered a shake hands but she only stared at my hand.

"Panalo kami!!!" buong saya na pinagsisigawan ng kasama niyang si Boris. Yun ang sabi nitong pangalan nito. Habang ang isa ay seryosong nakangiti lamang.

"So?" waiting for her to accept my hand. Inangat naman niya ang tingin sa akin. At dahan dahang inabot ang kamay.
Then I hold it. "what's your name?" I asked

"Jarry Cheng" she answered

"Cool" panglalaki pala pangalan niya "Congratulation, Jarry. Simula ngayon pwede na kayong tumambay sa lugar na yun" I heared someone called my name. Tumalikod ako para tingnan kung sino. My Captain! Bumitaw siya sa pagkakahawak ko sa kamay niya.

"I'm sorry. I have to go" then I walked away. I know my Captain wanted to remind me of my duties.

"Why did you allow her?" he asked when I passed by him.

"I didn't allow her, she is just a great player" I answered. That's true. She is unpredictable. One thing I learned, I shouldn't underestimate someone. My Captain stopped and looked at me while walking. Siguro ay nagtataka siya sa ikinilos ko.
