*phone rings*

I stretched my body before I answered my phone without peeking who's who. I am so sleepy, for fuck's sake!

"Yes, Hello, Ian speaking, who's this?"

"Ian! Thank God you didn't change your number. This is me, Leana!" it's Leana? Tinignan ko ang caller id to check if it's true and yes she is, I wonder why she called.

"I'm sorry if I called you this late, I know you're sleeping but I just wanted to invite you on my wedding!!!"

"Wed— what?!!" oh my holy, my friend is going to get married!

"Yes, Ian, I'm going to get married soon, sana makapunta ka. You know it's been 3 years since we haven't seen each other, and I wish you to be with me during this special occasion so please, come to my wedding please"

She made me stop after what she said, I know that it's been 3 years but I still don't know if I am going back, but maybe I can make her wish for granted. I can spend a week or a month there and to have vacation without thinking about what happened 3 years ago. So maybe it's a yes.

"Hmm. When and where Lele?" I want to see my friend during her special day, so yes I'm going.

"Whaaaa!!! It's on the 17th of September, Yan! Wala pang place but you can come with us sa paghahanap, syempre dito parin sa Pinas, maybe pwede ka namang mag take ng vacation diba?"

"Yeah, I can pero I'll check and magka-cancel na lang ako ng events kung meron ng naka sched."

"Yay! Thank you Yan! I miss you. How are you btw? Is he calling you pa ba?" here we go again, she's going to ask about him again.

"Okay naman ako, humihinga pa and yes you're welcome."

"You didn't answer my question about him Yan, is everything alright between the two of you?" This is Leana who I am talking to, kaya alam kong hindi nya ako tatantanan hanggat hindi ako sumasagot.

"Okay, the last time he called was 2 years ago, I blocked his number before going here and kung tinatanong mo kung okay kami, I can say na hindi ko alam." Yeah, hindi ko alam, after 3 years hindi ko alam kung anong mangyayare pagnagkita kami ulit. Wala kaming closure wtf.

"What do you mean by that?"

"Wala akong alam Lele. I don't know if we are okay or what so yeah I don't know."

"That sucks Yan, anong oras na ba dyan? I'm sorry, nagising kita hehe pero invited ka na ate hahaha" she is mocking me while saying the word 'ate' haha bwiset talaga.

"Shut up Leana, stop calling me 'ate'. Its 2:34 AM, we've been talking for 30 minutes. Hey can I sleep na?" I sounded like begging her to let me sleep. I know I shouldn't tell her that but I really wanted to sleep.

"Ow! I'm sorry, it's too early pa pala dyan! You go and sleep na Ian, thank you and see you very very soon!"

"Yes Lele, see you soon. Keep safe! Congrats btw! Bye!"

"Thank you Yan! You too, byebye!"

And yes, that's how we end our call. Fck it's early in the morning and I don't know if I can go back to sleep. Leana and Hadriel, what a cuties. I miss them so much, maybe it's time to have a vacation for me.

I started thinking about my plan when suddenly my phone beep.

*you have a text message*

Tiningnan ko kung sino yung nag text and its Leana, so maybe she forgot something so I opened the message and there is a part of me regretting saying yes to the bride to be and a part that I don't know what to feel!

What the hell?
