Love Takes Flight

"Hey Eren. Go out and check if anyone wants a drink. I'm taking my break" Armin rudely tells me when he comes back from doing he's rounds in collecting the dishes from the passengers. I don't blame him though. The passengers takes alot out of a person and you need to be calm when dealing with them.

I sigh and get up from where I'm seated. My break was over anyway. I take my cart out onto the floor and walk through the rows of people seated. I ask passengers if they would want a drink or a snack and some decline while other are all too eager for the free snacks. Vultures I tell you.

I get to the front of the row titled 33 D when I see a familiar face. Shit. Is that Levi. High school drop out Levi Ackerman. Hottest shit to ever walk in and out of my life. I say shit because the man has the shittiest attitude ever.

I walk by as if I did not see him when someone screeches infront of me.

"Eren fucking Yeager!" oh Gosh no. Nononono! I think as I quicken my walk. Not that lunatic, please.

As I'm trying to walk away fast enough someone grabs me by my shirt collar. Almost fucking choking me. I gag as they pull me back.

"shit!" I yell as I'm pulled all the way back "do you wanna fucking kill me!" I whisper yell as I'm planted in Hanges lap. She just laughs and hugs me tightly. I sigh and return the hug. Yeah, so Levi dropped out, but Hange continued her schooling. And I might have been friends with her throughout our senior year. I haven't seen the crazy bitch in 2 years. And here I meet her again. While she's with Levi Ackerman. What are the odds huh?

"Oh my, Eren. I haven't seen you in forever and this is the way you treat me. Damn. You really became a stewardess. I thought you would do something better with your life than this!" she said then laughed out loud. Very fucking loud. I looked around and my eyes caught grey ones.

I stood up upruptly and smoothed down my clothing with a blush." well it was nice seeing you Hange. Enjoy the reat of the flight" I said as I turned to make my way down to the pit.

"what are you doing after the flight Eren?" Hange continued and I sighed. "I don't know... Sleeping?" I said and shrugged, desperately trying to avoid looking around incase I catch unwanted eyes.

Hange laughed aloud "geez no way you're sleeping in Florida. I heard they have the best beaches and we're here for a slight holiday. Me and Levi that is. You remember the shorty right?" she said and looked up at me.

I nodded "yeah. In passing I guess. Look Hange, I really have to get back to work. I have other passengers to see to." I said and shrugged.

She looked behind her and then she started to pull a pen and paper from her bag. "look... Me and shorty are gonna have a whole lot of fun. And if you want to join us just call this number and we'll come pick you up. Anytime. Anywhere. OK?" she said and put the paper into my pants pocket.

Damn, she doesn't even know that I'm only gonna be in Florida for like 5 days before my next flight takes me back home to New York.

I shrugg "sure". I then make my way calmly to the pit and sit my ass down. I take out the paper from my pocket and look down. Hange wrote her name, address in New York, number and her home number plus her fax machine number. Damn, she really went all out.

I thought about throwing the paper away and forgetting I ever saw her again. But thought better of it. I didn't wanna not see Hange. We parted on good terms. It was her friend I didn't want to see.

Levi has always been a very hard subject for me. I don't know what it was about him. I've never had a full conversation with him either besides hello, how are you and nods in the hallway when we passed. When he left school without a word, I didn't feel very bad, but it felt like I had a great loss in my life.
