SCENT (Ereri)

"Levi"...."Levi- hey Levi!" I finally snap out of my gaze and turn to the person beside me with a blank look "what?" I ask and turn back to look at the elevator.

"Hey. It's okay I'm sure there is a great explanation for what we just saw." Petra said and gestures to the elevator.

-Flashback-

"...so Yes.. that's great. I will get right to that" I said with a smile and hung up the phone. I turned to Petra about to tell her someone made an appointment to speak with one of our lawyers but she was looking behind me with a confused look.

I turned and my Hart dropped with the sight that greeted me. There he was. The guy that I've wanted for almost six months. He works as one of the lawyers here and I met him when I started here a year ago.

He was the only alpha to smile at me without me feeling like he would rip my omega Hart to pieces just for a fuck like the others did. Plus he had a calming scent that made me so happy and right now this scent was coming from the doorway where he and a blond omega boy(I can tell by his body shape plus smell) stood after giving their coats to the doorman.

I stood in a trans with the phone still held up in my hand as the blond omega laughed at something the green eyed alpha said and was smiling so adoring at him.

My Hart felt like it stopped as I watched them past by my desk still talking and smiling and smelling of happy, without even greeting me and of course Petra beside me I couldn't help but think at that moment Eren always greets me as he passed without a glance my way. My gaze following them in till the elevator door closed.

-End flashback-

"Uh yeah" I said and put the phone down. Petra started sniffing beside me. "It's clearly not because you smell like sad omega and you don't look so very well. Levi it's ok to be upset but I'm sure there was nothing going on over there" she said and sat on her side of the desk.

We were the front desk before you go up to the workplace reception. We did everything from confirming appointment dates to court dates and all other dealing that the lawyers wanted and all at a great pay that is why we are actually 3 working the desk but the third one Christa also an omega is off on maternity leave.

I tried to Not to roll my eyes but I was feeling a bit silly for just assuming but I can't help it and once my mind tells me that that is what I think it is then there is no stopping it.

I sat down without a word and we returned to our work that is in till the ding went off and the doors opened and someone smelling particularly crazy came out. " Oh gosh Levi" they went around the desk and grabbed me into a hug filled with beta sweet calming smells.

I leaned into the hug for a moment then realised what I was doing and pushed her back and just turned back to my working station.

She stood there with me for a.minute then turned around to Petra "Hey you" she said and chatted with her for a moment.

And that's why I love Hange so much. She always knows when the right time to talk about things were with me. Like right now she knows I don't want to talk about what aspired a few minutes ago.

I tuned them out and went on with my work but my mind kept drifting to seeing Eren so happy with the blond omega boy. Maybe it's better this way. Maybe.. Maybe I should take the offer Erwin made me. The alpha I want is obviously not available to me anymore. I was thinking so much I didn't hear the elevator door open up and two people came out.

I turned and Hange looked at me. I pursed my lips and said "I'm think im going to say Yes to the date Erwin asked me to think about last week",but Hange attention wasn't on me anymore. She was looking behind me.
