Chapter 25

The next week was full of Lily and Ashton planning Ella the perfect birthday. Ella told them she didn't want anything. Just being with them was special enough.

Lily came up with the idea of going to the amusement park. Everyone would have fun on the rides and in the water. Lily was going to get a special gift for Ella that she would never expect.

The day finally came and Ashton and Lily were up super early to start decorating. Lily put a ton of balloons in Ella's room. Then she snuck back out to help continue decorating.

Ashton and Lily decorated cupcakes with rainbow swirls. They also had a huge sign that said HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELLA.

Luke woke up and also helped with the set up. They put a purple table cloth on the table with donuts. Lily then put a tiara on the table that said Birthday Girl on it.

"Lily, can you go wake El up?" Ashton asked.

Lily nodded and headed into Ella's room. She was still sleeping. Lily smiled at her sleeping girlfriend before brushing the hair out of her face.

"El." Lily said softly.

Ella didn't budge.

Lily tried again by gently shaking her.

"El, wake up."

Ella groaned. But opened her eyes.

"Morning beautiful. Happy birthday." Lily said.

Ella smiled lazily and Lily pressed her lips to Ella's.

"Sleep good?" Lily asked.

Ella nodded.

After Ella rubbed her eyes again and another kiss from Lily, she got up and followed Lily out into the kitchen.

"Happy birthday!!" Luke and Ashton said.

Ella smiled. "Thank you."

Ashton put the crown on Ella head and hugged her. Luke also came over and hugged Ella.

"Let's do presents." Ashton announced.

He grabbed the bags and set them down in front of Ella.

"You didn't have to get me anything." Ella said.

"We wanted to. It's your birthday special girl." Ashton said.

Ella smiled and Ashton kissed her forehead.

Ashton handed Ella a bag and Ella smiled before opening the card that was inside. The gift was from Ashton. On the inside of the card it said Happy Birthday El, I hope your day is just as amazing as you are. Love you, Ash.

Ella smiled. She then took the tissue paper out and pulled out a journal with gel pens. There was also a bath bomb and face mask in there.

"Thank you Ash. This means a lot."

Ella hugged Ashton.

"No problem. Thought these things would be helpful with relaxation."

The next gift was from Luke. The card read El, Even though I haven't known you that long, I've seen you grow as a person in the last few months. You're a strong hard working girl. You deserve the best. You amaze me everyday. Love, Luke.

Ella smiled again and then opened Luke's gift. He got her an Amazon gift card, some chocolates and some perfume.

"Thank you Luke. You almost made me cry with your card."

Luke chuckled and smiled. "All of that's truth though."

He wrapped Ella is a huge hug.

"Ok, and now my present." Lily said.
